Absolutely not. The black cockpit is one of the distinctive features of the original design and makes the car even more unique than it already is.

Well, I quenched first because I see a NSX sitting on grass and leaves. It's just does not seem right. The surroundings in that pic do the car no justice, mainly because of the NSX (or an car for that matter) sitting on grass.

The other thing I hate is seeing the big ass Honda symbol plagued in the front. I have no issues with Honda, otherwise I wouldn't be driving one. I think the Acura symbol is much more dynamic and matches the NSX's form better. I'd really prefer the clean look of no emblems at all; it just this mundane, independent symbol that is slapped on the car to brand it. It has nothing to do with the actual design of the car. Also, let's be real here, if you don't know what a NSX is and who makes it, you don't need to be talking about it, ya know. And yes, I do realize the Honda symbol is on the NSX everywhere outside the US. I am just talking about the pure aesthetics.

Like I said before though, the Red/Blacktop combo looks much better in real life because our human eyes sees a wider range of colors. When captured by a camera, the Red usually becomes mellowed down next to the black and it just clashes. The all red NSX photographs better because there is not much black to compete with the red. I could go on more about this theory of mine, but I'll stop here

Compare the 2 here , I need to repaint my red car roof for flaws , and I would do it black . I think it just gives that more of a cockpit and contrasted look that honda intended . I love it .

What exactly did you quench?

Have you ever gotten a chilled feeling in your knees or down your body because you saw something nasty, like someone's shin bone snapped out of his skin? Quench also means to be subdued, or weakened.

O, the all Black one look much cleaner/nicer than the Red/Blacktop combo when you compare the two next to each other. Put it next to a White/Blacktop combo and the White will win because of a better contrast. The latter is a nice photo though.

It's really not that serious. It's still a NSX either way, and that's pretty damn good in most people's book.

On mine, not only is the roof painted, but so is the door handle and piece along the bottom edge of the door windows. A little more work, but I think the results make the job look complete.
