I bet someone on this forum knows something about this.

Some similar parts now showing up on eBay. I wonder if they may be the same car. It is a strange coincidence. But I don't want to acuse anyone. Could be legit... just weird timing

@ a local car meet over the weekend in texas

Socold your car looks fantastic but the I really think spacers would make it look better. That's a really conservative et, they look a bit sunken in sorta OEM style. Especially the rear.

X2 on spacers would make them pop. I was thinking of throwing on my buddies set of silver MF10s but they are s2k offsets :(

type-j, I like the black roof, mirrors and oem side skirts but I would like the car even more if the wheels were a bit brighter so you can see what they actually are. OEM 02+ wheels in light gun metal would make the car look like a NSX-R.

I agree with Brylek on the wheels. Rest of the car looks good. Post more pictures.

This is because you guys are looking at bad photos and dark wheels need to be photographed correctly to be seen as they actually are. He has beautiful Volk TE37 which look better than OEM, but the OEM wheels photograph better. Brylek you are a photographer I'm sure you know.

For the longest time I was convinced I wanted to keep my OEM 05 wheels. A huge part of the popularity of them is that they photograph well. One day I got my black RSII's, and installed on one side. OEM wheels on the other. I drove around town. I questioned various people. At the gas station, at the supermarket, car guys, women, teenagers, etc. I must have asked 20+ groups of people. Not a single person said they liked the OEM better. Had I shown them photos, it would have been the reverse. The same goes for colors. It's difficult to take a bad photo of Imola. It is difficult to take a good photo of silverstone. Here are a few good and bad examples just on my car. I am certain if typeJ took better photos, it would look vastly different.

Type J's mag blue Volks are awesome. They just need decent photos.

I still have a long way to go before I call myself a photographer, I just like to take pictures of my car and sometimes I get lucky. Owning good equipment also helps.

My personal opinion about putting aftermarket wheels is that I like some designs for certain aspects but I still haven't found a wheel that I wold be able to live with for a very long time. Te37, Ce28, advan RS and RS2's all look very good on some ocasions but the OEM 02+ wheels look just good but all the time. Another thing I can add about after market wheels is that many times they make a car look old and tired while OEM wheels always make the car look young, fresh and many times "lighter".

Painting wheels black is a trend, I see a lot of new cars comming out with black wheels - I hope it will go away soon but I can live with it if it doesn't. To me a car with black wheels looks like a space ship that is off the ground. It get's worst when your tire gets dirty, that makes the car look even older. I like your car, I really do but from this picture I can't even tell what wheels you have on (I know you have RSIIs but if I didn't I wouldn't be able to tell):

That's my whole point. That picture is off my iPhone. That's not what the car looks like. That's not what the wheels look like. There's no black "blob" or "holes" where the wheels are supposed to go. No is my tint remotely that dark. Only in pictures. That's why I posted a more correct photo. Same with Type J's photo. You see the yellow, but you see no wheels. That's photography. Not the wheel.

first time posting some pics of my NSX.

I have had it for about a month now. Picked up coilovers, wheels and tires right away.

I know there will be questions, so specs are;

Volk Racing TE37SL
18x10 +40 225/35/18
18x10.5 +22 255/35/18

10" up front? Whoah... Your front wheel is wider than my rear wheel

Im surprised too. I was going to go with a 9 up front but damn he fit a 10.

I guess it depends on the definition of fit. He's probably rubbing harder than Tiger Woods on a pornstar. LOL

car rubs only at slow speeds, and/or large potholes or bumps.

It's not for everyone, i get it. haha.. I just wanted concave TE on stock body.
