We did that combination:
- modified LM GT cf diffusor as closed rear underbody plate
- NSX-R NA2 cf diffusor as end and viewable part

Today we installed the prototype of the NSX-R closed front underbody
plate at the Procar NSX, as usual as complete cf part.

The front and the rear part of our NSX is closed now.

Here are the first impressions....

How does it drive in comparison, after more downforce myself.

Actually it drives much worser, because this car isnt moved since
5 months. :wink:

But because it has the same concept as the actual Type R NSX, it should work fine.
Our version dont has holes in it (only 6 for the installation system) the
NSX-R plate has over 20 holes, which will disturb the effects.
We concepted a little bigger plate size, the side fins are carbonfiber (no rubber like OEM) also a bit deeper, a good basic for our new hood.

The final version and protoype of the new NA1R hood is produced and will be
installed next week. (pictures soon....)

We plan to make our 1th test session at the Nürburgring end of the month.

After 16 months of research and development we are proud to present
the final version of the new Procar NSX-R hood for the NA1 NSX
(with retractable headlights)

The new Procar NA1R hood is available in 2 specs.
spec 1: buttom side exposed cf, top side prepared for painting
spec 2: all sides are exposed cf
predrilled washer holes

It comes in the same superb vacuumbacked quality as our NA2R hoods.
Also the fitment is excellent, we tested that today.

Its a 1:1 conversion from the actual NSX-R 2002+ hood, the air outlet piece is the same and also the NSX-R hood screen.

We could save some more weight and this Procar Specials prototype
weights 2.9 kg (6.4 lbs).

We will produce a limited edition of 20 hoods, orders can be placed from
now via email or pm.
Production time for each hood is 14 days.

We finished the closed fc frontplate installation today.
After some mods its perfect now and goes into production.

Finally after some months of underground work we can present the complete
NSX-R gauge cluster kit, converted to an NA1 NSX.
Thanks goes to our japanese friends.

Like the pictures shows.....the instruments are working. :wink:
They looks amazing, but thats not the end of the story.

Thats right.
Price for new ones with power rails is over 16.000 Euros here in Europe incl. freight costs and taxes.

I have bought another set 2 years before and installed into the Procar NSX.
But I never have had the idea to change it against a nice used civic :biggrin:

The center material is the same as the outside material.
You will find more versions as the alcantara one into the NSX-R parts list.
BTW...I have both versions here and both are Originals.

This hood is very special and the weight is 3.1 kg (6.8 lbs)

Stock in most things, only exhaust system and suspenion had small modifications.
(no catalytic converters were installed and the suspension had another damper and spring setup)
