But because it has the same concept as the actual Type R NSX, it should work fine.
Our version dont has holes in it (only 6 for the installation system) the
NSX-R plate has over 20 holes, which will disturb the effects.
We concepted a little bigger plate size, the side fins are carbonfiber (no rubber like OEM) also a bit deeper, a good basic for our new hood.

Hi Detlef,

I have made a similar underbody cover like the Type R has for the front from aluminum. I did not know the original fins were made of rubber, but if so, I think I have discovered why. I have driven the car only for a few short distances but already, one of the fins is somewhat bent at the end, probably from something hitting it although I never heard anything.

Would like to know if how your rear diffuser works as well. Is it just a straight cover or is it curved like the one SoS sells ?? And what point do you use to fix it?? Am thinking of making a rear diffuser myself to complement my 2002 lower valence.

One other question, I seems no one ever covers the area at the rear of the NSX where the petrol tank is mounted (just in frond of the rear suspension parts). Have you thought of that part yet ?? Should be relatively easy to do unless there is a very good reason not to.

we dont have problems with our system.
Even the 2 NSX-R race cars are using that system....also no problems.
But we are using a special mounting system.

The diffusor works very well, also the race cars have them
Its the NSX-R OEM diffusor, the rest is from the LM car, a straight plate with fins.
I dont know the other brands.
For the LM diffusor, I took the mounting points from the rear bumper, thats
very stabil.
For the 2002 rear valence I would recomment my NSX-R cf diffusor.
This installation is easy, 6 screws at the lower part of the rear valence.
(Most exhaust systems have too big mufflers, additional diffusors are difficult to install because they will hang too low)

Not sure which part you mean...is it the outer cover?

Well, maybe I have been just unlucky. I have attached a picture of my front undercover.

I have ordered the Taitec GTLE, I don't think it will take up much space. Where do you mount the front edge of the rear diffuser. Do you cover the whole rear suspension including the engine or only the exhaust area ??

I have attached a picture of the underside, the encircled part is the area that I mean.

The undercover plate looks right from here, maybe you must change your driving style.
Or maybe your car is lowered too much.
From here its very difficult to analyze this problem.

The Taitec GTLW is perfect for a diffusor construction.
We covered the exhaust area only…..this was our inspiration

5576PROCAR_LED_spoiler_4.JPG

We had to modify the GTLM diffusor for the newer rear valence and the NSX-R diffusor, so we combinate 2 different systems
5576Diffusor_2.JPG

we produced 2 more of these NSX-R underbody front plates.

Maybe its a bit too decadent, but these parts are complete exposed carbonfiber with high gloss finish, also the bittom side.

Not sure if its too expensive for a part which can be admired only if the car is on the lifter or if the hood is open....but we like it

Rainer.....this is your part

we finished the production of the Procar cf side mirror prototypes.
This is the first pair, we plan to produce a limited edition of 10 units.
Soory for the delay, these units are very difficult in production.

The Procar cf side mirror set is compatible with the OEM inner mechanical
components....all is plug and play.

More pictures after the installation

Jesus Christ!!! They look f***ing great, really! Why only a limited production? What will their price be?

Here are some more spy photos....because we are working on the NSX over the weekend, we have no pictures out into the sun.
But these ones should show some details too....

All we can say is that these mirrors are amazing, absolutely OEM fitment with
1/3 of the weight.

We are actually work on a new front spoiler with winglets concept, so the
Procar NSX stays on the lifter next few days.

hello, do you ever plan on working on a NSX-R GT inspired front bumper, and those wide side scoops?

sorry no.
We think that these NSX-R GT parts are ugly, so
the standard NSX-R parts has our concentration.

how much actual weight savings have you gained from truck, spoiler, hood, mirrors, RWG? Is the procar nsx lighter than a stock nsx-r? Does the stock nsx-r have the same carbon parts as yours, just painted?

~ 30 lbs

Is the procar nsx lighter than a stock nsx-r?
yes

Does the stock nsx-r have the same carbon parts as yours, just painted?
The OEM NSX-R hood and spoiler are carbonfiber too, the rest of the parts
are standard aluminium or plastic.

Also do you have an updated price list with everything you have available
Please check pm

Car looks amazing, definitely one of a kind. I need to get some of your goodies, I cant stop drooling over it.

Hi Detlef,

Your car keeps looking better and better.
As for the weight, is that 1232 kg with a full tank or with an empty one ?

Another question. The rear decklid spoiler, how is this attached to the trunk lid. You have to drill any holes. Also, what is the effect of this decklid spoiler on the aero dynamics of the car. It is worthwile to add it to you car even if you keep the original rear spoiler ??

The tank was 3/4 full, with 50 Liter of gasolin.

The rear decklid spoiler, how is this attached to the trunk lid.
We are using special doublesided tape, installation is very easy.

You have to drill any holes.
The spoiler has 2 thread inserts, which can be used, but it isnt necessary.
We did some high speed tests.

Also, what is the effect of this decklid spoiler on the aero dynamics of the car. It is worthwile to add it to you car even if you keep the original rear spoiler ??
Its definately an upgrate in aerodynamics, more rear downforce.
And the car should run faster, with the race car we had a higher top speed.

many of our NA1R hood customers contacted us with the wish, that we should produce a special front airduct system for all LHD NSX’s, the same as the NA2R RHD has installed.
Because it was a complete new development, we spended a lot of time with that over the last 18 months.

Since last weekend we have the 1th carbonfiber prototype in test, all we can say is thats another amazing part.
Here are some impressions, we will start the production of that limited edition
(20 units) next few weeks.
(this part is only available for our Procar NSX-R hood customers)
