Procar Specials NSX

last saturday I removed the CD changer out of the trunk area.
Because of the race supension, listening to the music was no fun because of jumping CD's.

It ended with an overall weight reduction of 3.2 kg

Installed the GROM iPod/USB adapater, which is a great add to the excisting
stereo.
No need to buy an iPod, actually I'm using a 2GB USB stick.
Very easy plug and play installation. (yes, the antenna is removed too)
There is a limit to 6 x 99 songs (6 folders) but nearly 600 songs are not too bad.
Result: I can highly recomment that system.

Here some pictures from the installation.

We have modified the OEM stereo.
Removed the casett player and integrated the USB hub from iPod adapter
with a cf cover.
Looks modern now and works fine

some spy photos from the new
Procar cf rear strut bar for coupe

The part is superlight and very strong, finally it will get the HIGH GLOSS finish next week. More photos in 2 weeks, than we start the sale

Hi Detlef,

Could you offer it without the high-gloss finish? Just my thoughts but it may appeal to a wider audience and in particular those owners with little or no other CF parts as the non gloss looks very OEM.

Good luck with the parts

regards, Paul

my car is been drop down about 2 inch. will this RGT diffusor will be ok to be used? how tall are from the ground, am afraid it will hit the ground on a bumpy road if it to close to the ground

thanks

My God that's clean
well, it looks quite clean, but 17 years are 17 years.

2-3 inch ground clearance.
The diffusor is very strong and the brackets are high adjustable, so thats not really an issue.

Last weekend I finished the cooling hose replacement project.
no 22+23, the hoses around oil cooler were the last ones.
It took some time and a special selfmade tool to install the small hose all the way on the aluminium tube,
even by using lot of silicone spray, but finally it worked.
It was an exacting DIY job, a great experience.
But my hands and fingers are happy that this torture has an end.

Last step at the cooling hoses replacement work was the thermostat change.
Amazing how an 17 year old water canal looks without cleaning.
Like new, no oxidation.

Finally the old thermostat was bad, is was opened all the time.
Good to know that this problem is fixed now.

yes....the coolant is still the old green one.
It will be replaced by the new blue Type 2 coolant next week.

Any idea how this would look on a non-02+ rear? I really like this piece.

Well, its a nice part with probably the best fitment and finish of all diffusors.
But this part is concepted for perfect fitment with 02+ rear valence.

Actually I have 3 of these RGT diffusors in production, all preorders.

Because the old rear is very different from style and dimensions, I would assume that it wont fit, but I dont have tested it.

Surely the rear end of the RGT diffusor can be cutted and with some extra work it should fit, but I'm sceptic if it will look that nice.

IMO best way to go:
02+ rear valence
+ R diffusor
+ RGT diffusor

Finally it looks like HONDA made all of it.
