i'm considering upgrading to an 02 rear just for that diffuser. for all practical purposes how badly does that scrape?

Maybe you know the Procar NSX, its lowered with the TEIN RE's and race springs to the maximum point.
Even after some test drives at the Nordschleife, there is no single scratch on it and that track is very bumpy.
I'm sure that there is no issue, and with some care and the 'right' angles
at some speed bumps, all is fine.

Some of the diffusors will be installed at US customer NSX's soon, so maybe we can get an report from there

Let me know if you wanna have an diffusor, actually we have 3 units in production. They should be ready for shipment until end of the month.

Will you destroy the molds or could you still make some to order in the future as one-offs at a higher price?
The molds will be stocked, not destroyed, but we dont produce
more consoles and stock them as we did last few years.

You can place an order every time, but the production time is ~ 8 weeks.
The price should be the same, its stabil since the introduction of the Euro
currency.

So I have been trying to justify the cost and made some assumptions based on previous posts about this console. I'm now kicking around the idea if I should get it or not. No more overlayed stuff for me anymore.

Now I see this detailed picture posted and am concerned. Can you please tell me if your console is truly 100% carbon fiber or an OEM unit simply overlayed with cf? The reason I ask is because I always thought if it was entirely made out of 100% cf that it would show in the circled areas as well. Thanks.

Remove your center console and you will see that the 2 points you marked at the top are plastic parts from the OEM radio.

The main case for the ashtray is OEM plastic, (Its fixed with 4 screws at the backside of the console) only the ashtray cover is cf.

Maybe that picture helps.

what is the weight difference of the CF console compared to the OEM console?
Because the OEM console is plastic and very light, there is only a few gram
of weight saving. Its what I would call a cosmetic part, like all interior part.

I you wanna have dramatic weight savings, you must buy parts like our bumper beams (-20kg)

Thank you for the extra pictures and suggestions. I have taken the console apart and below is what I have found on my OEM unit.
  • Areas marked green are part of the OEM radio/ ashtray.
  • Areas marked red are a continuous part of the OEM console.
The picture clearly shows where the carbon fiber layer ends and another non-carbon colored (black/ grey) material begins. The areas in which this is observed are the surrounding places of "TPS - RDS/ Seek" buttons. Also it can be seen even better in the ashtray area.

Rather than make assumptions please answer clearly. Is your unit 100% full carbon console or a carbon overlay? Yes or no?

YES.
Maybe we have to post other pictures as soon the next console is produced.

Same question we got for the door insert pieces
Here is one picture who shows all details

one of our customers bought a complete Procar BBK.

This is what the customer had installed before:
Movit 342x34mm BBK kit front with pads, adapters, 25mm spacers and brake lines
Kit is plug and play.

He wanna sale that kit in customer order now, please pm or email for
price incl shipment
This kit was installed for ~ 500 miles, so its like new.

that kit rocks, even if the basic weight of the driver is a bit out of the standard......
