'91 NSX,ct headers,77k mi. There seems to be a loss of power when accelerating. The cel comes on after 6k rpm. At a complete stop, the idle drops to 500 and back to 900. The o2 sensors were changed today. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It could be a fuel problem, have you changed the fuel filter? If the fuel filter is OK I would check flow and pressure of the fuel pump. Its a place to start looking anyway.

Vtec not working? Do you have a drop in oil pressure at about 5800 rpms?... you should. Just a thought.

Pull the throttle body off, send it to Chris at SOS. He will exchange it for a big bore TB that is all clean and shiny. I believe the exchange cost is approximately $260.

i would first find out what code the cel is throwing. after that i would do a leak down test. this should definitely tell you where your engines at.

Thanks guys. I'll contact chris at sos and I'll pull the cel code if I can figure out how to ground the blue connector with a paper clip.

Thanks again to all those that replied. CEL code was 4 long blinks, then 4 short blinks, followed by 2 short blinks. This kept repeating(cel light). Also, the tcs light had 3 long blinks, then 4 short blinks.
