Well I've been a lurker on here for at least a few years and always wanted an NSX but never the right time (another car, job change, move, etc....)

I won't say which car I bought but stay tuned in the next few weeks as I do some mad shopping online for parts....hehehe

thanks to everyone for letting me join in on the local meets and I even remember my first NSX meet at the dealership up north a few years back. I cruised over with you guys in my 2001 s2000 at the time.

Congrats Rick. You are going to love your NSX...now, which one did you get? You wanted a white one. I can think of one white 02+ that was for sale on Prime. :biggrin: If that is the one you got, then double congrats!!!
 
Thanks guys, I can't wait to actually have it delivered to my garage! :)

Been shopping on this forum for ideas on wheels since that's going to be one of my first purchases along with the BBK's.

Debating custom Endless or Brembo full kit on the NKS.........

Wheel suggestions guys?


I was ok going with either a yellow or white car. I really didn't want two yellow cars since my s2k is already yellow. I also liked the Imola Orange but pickings were pretty slim and the owners who had them wanted crazy money for it!

At this rate looks like I'll be able to make the May NSX corral car show :)

In another thread you mentioned that your new NSX has Tein suspension...well, guess what? This one has Tein and recently went sale pending (also has OEM wheels/brakes and looks like you are looking to upgrade the wheels/brakes). Also it is not silver, red, green, blue, and definitely not black.

He said it is not WHITE so the YELLOW one has a higher chance.

I see this entire "buying an NSX" a real adventure and going to enjoy every part of this process.

One of the reasons I didn't buy an nsx years ago was because I was afraid it would turn into a money pit sorta like what happened to my m3 and s2000. The car just begs to be modded and that is one reason I wanted to get an exotic and just be done....oh wells there goes that plan! :biggrin:

If it is either of the two I think it is, then you are getting an awesome NSX. Looking forward to seeing the pics :smile:
 
I think Rick is getting the White 04. He was looking for some new wheels and know those Gold HRE's that were on it are for sale. Just my thought. Rob
