^^^Wow, that's a little bit close for comfort.

Pics of NSX parked next to a Tesla Model S. I got to drive the Tesla S, and the instant torque is impressive. Steering feel wasn't very impressive though, and the car wobbled unpredictably during aggressive acceleration. You can't really "coast" the car due to the regenerative braking, which wants to apply the brakes as soon as you take your foot off the accelerator. Still, it's night and day compared to the anemic Leaf that I drove before.

If only the NSX was wider like the Vette.... :)
Why would you want 'your' NSX to be as big as a Vette?

...and while we're at it, lets get rid of all that flimsy aluminum and replace it with real american fiberglass... and then there's that whole mid-engine issue...

I don't think s4play wants the nsx to be exactly like a Z06 ( which happens to be 75 inches wide ). Remember most entry level ferrari's are around 75 inches wide, and so is the gallardo. Being wide and low gives the car much more presence esp when viewed on the road.

edit: if you you look at the top of the line cars like the ENZO or the Aventador, and Mercielago, they are 80 inches wide.

Exactly, there is nothing wrong with admiring an American car, anyone who thinks the Z06 is bad is fooling themselves. Great car for the money! We all wish our NSX had the motor and power of the Vette :)

Wow didn't know the Aventador is 10" wider than an NSX!!!!!

I saw this lady driving a Vette last night with this really cool spoiler coming out of the taillight flat side of the trunk and curves upward.

My dad is turning 70 this year so thinking to buy him a nice pre-owned Vette in bright yellow! Has to be Auto but what years are the best to buy, prefer the latest body style and a coupe. I guess I need to find a reputable Vette forum which must be thousands out there....

WIDTH on Cool cars.

911 (991): 71.1 in
NSX: 71.3 in
C6 Vette: 72.6 in
Gallardo: 74.8 in
F355: 75 in
Italia: 76.3 in
Murcielago: 80.5 in - 81.0 in (07+ models)

...I wish our car was 73 Inches, but OH WELL, still love the same! :D

My previous ride was a black 2008 z06. Basically a fast/raw as hell out of the box street car and the only thing holding this car back from being track worthy is a pair of recaro's. (ok maybe some good coilovers too which I had.)

I would go for a 08 or newer because of the slightly more powerful ls3 and some minor interior updates as well.

The only bug I had with the vette was the battery. I couldnt go at least 2 weeks with out having to plug it in or else the battery going dead or weak. Just do a search regarding this and you will find stuff.
My nsx with a factory size battery does not have this issue and I'm happy. Just get in and drive.

enjoy

Look what i found around the corner from my work...

Nice red/tan 308 parked next to me and it was fascinating to see the cars side by side. You could really see that the Honda designers clearly were looking at that body style when the visualized the NSX. Seperate, it is not terribly noticeable but side by side and it is quite remarkable.
