NSX Meeting Holland/Belgium owners (others are welcome too...)

Hi Guys,

Ik heb voor iedereen de routebeschrijvingen en kaarten. Dus jullie hoeven de roadmaps niet uit te printen.

Tot morgen,
Gerard

Hi guys,

is there any meeting point at the nürburgring (time?). Maybe 2 NSX from Cologne are at the ring, too.

Thanks for info

Misschien ten overvloede, maar ons startpunt in Nivelles is Motel Nivelles-Sud, Chausse de Mons 22, Nivelles.

Tot morgen,
Gerard

Gerard,

Hi Guys and ofcourse Girls,

It was a great weekend and the weather wasn't so bad dispite of a little shower saturday afternoon.

Many thanks to Peter and his wife for organising such a great lunch at their house in Belgium. It was outstanding. We enjoyed it very much.

Thanks to Michel for helping me with making the roadmaps and providing his website for publishing the roadmaps.

It was a great joy to have this tour with our friends of the Dutch Type-R club. Sander (VTECCIE) many thanks.

It was great to see these Dutch and Belgium VTEC Hondas all together.

My son Dimer broke the 250 km/h barrier with his Civic Type-R on the German Autobahn. And I was proud to see him conquering the Nordschleife with such bravour.

It was a nice trip !!!
Seen some parts of belgium which i never saw before, and i will go back to sooner or later to have a look again.
Due to the size of the group, we really didn't get to stretch the legs of the NSX, but it was a good view in the rearviewmirror anyway.
Spoke to some belgium members, and i'm sure we will catch eachother sooner or later again.

Special thankx to Peter Miller and his wife for sorting out the coffee and some food. Thank you!

Too bad for the complete arogant Ferrari driver (360 spider, just across border in belgium), and them belgium cops needing to photo Otto and me doing just a few k over the speedlimit

Mich

Well, Mich ... can't tell too much yet but one of the participants (Eli) lives in Verviers (Ardennes) and we are preparing the next trip through the nicest places there. It will be a 'sightseeing tour' with many places to make awesome pictures (abbey's, castles etc.) and off course: the curbiest roads :p
We'll keep everyone informed about date and rendez-vous
We'll try to match Gerards effort !
to be continued ....

thanks very much Gerard and Mich for the nice organisation and thanks to all you Dutch NSX and Type-R freaks for the pleasant trip and above all for the nice and friendly atmosphere during those two days. Slow driving on small roads to high speed low-flying where it was possible, you did it all with extreme discipline, and I appreciate that very much.

I'm sure my fellow Belgian-NSX-freaks enjoyed it as much as I did. And as Eric (Blue Eyes) already said, plans are already made for a follow-up event. We have the advantage of having a local "aboriginal" (Ely) amongst us and together with our own driving experience in the Ardennes, I'm shure we will be able to offer you a magnificent trip, and be shure there will be quite a few high speed curving routes.

Hope to see you all again very soon.

A pitty you couldn't make it to Nurburg on sunday, because we really hit the speedlimiter on the autobahn. As you've seen on the photo, Dimer even made 252 km/h. And I almost went into the speedlimiter in five (300 km/h). Sunday it was a sunny day and we had much fun in Nurburg, Unfortunatly we saw some bad accidents on the track.

It was nice to see the Belgium NSX's also set fire on their engines. Even in Belgium.

I am looking forward to the trip our Belgium friends gonna organise.

You have a speedlimiter?
If you're talking about the rev limiter (short gears?) it maybe time to put a 6speed gearbox in - should work up to 320 km/h with stock R&P I guess
