Mod 2002 NSX with pop-ups?

This is might seem a stupid question, but i'm serious: would it be possible to mod a 2002 NSX with pre-2002 pop-up lights? Can it be done, and would it be feasible?

I know there are owners like <A HREF="http://www.nsxprime.com/Gallery/POTM/2002-04-april.htm">Wilson Sham</A> who have used 2002 body parts to update their NSX.
If the 2002 NSX is the most powerful NSX (2nd to NSX-R

) it would be cool to give it the more beautiful look (personally, i prefer pre-2002 NSX's)

My question also applies to changing the rear lights, etc.. Hence u get a '95/'97 look with extra-low low-mileage.

The 2002 NSX is no more powerful than the 2001 NSX. It might be simpler to just get a low-mile 01 NSX.

ICBW, but in Wilson's case, Honda does not import the '02 NSX into Hong Kong; so upgrading an earlier car made sense if you wanted the new look.

But there weren't that many '01 NSX sold though, making that even more difficult. Unless Eric (Akira3D) wants to sell his NSX.

Abt Wilson's NSX: that's interesting... i didn't know HK didn't get 02 imports. I guess the merge with China has it's downsides.

As of 1:03am CST, there were nine available on AutoTrader and one on eBay (did't check to see if it was duplicated on AutoTrader). That should get you started. ;-)

I know for a fact the tail lights just bolt right up with 0 modification. I just updated my 92 with '02 tails yesterday. 1 hr max.
