I'm hoping to be at the Ypsi show... as well as Cars and Coffee at Zingerman's (West location) tomorrow morning.

Rainout for Zingerman's but a beautiful day for the Orphan's show in Ypsilanti. #1 highlight was a display of three Tuckers... A complete original survivor, hidden in a garage for 35 years until recently unearthed; one completely restored to original; and a fiberglass replica (possibly created for the movie) that was a complete resto mod, including a mid engine with twin turbos.

Also: how about a NSU Spider, (now Audi), first rotary powered vehicle, and rear engined as well?

Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

Spotted by a friend of mine tonight on M14 around 630 pm (he was the guy giving me the skinny on good places for Neal to look for photo opps at the August meetup that I couldn't stop in at).

As he said: "Is this one of the club guys? He was a.younger guy. Had a catchy personalized plate but I forgot it and my picture did not come out clear enough. I need to add that FBI license plate picture clearing SW to my IPhone."

Anyone here?

I think that would be me, the lurker in this forum! Hopefully, one day I'll get to meet everyone at CJs :)

The plate is M1DSHIP as a homage to mid-engined cars being called as such in the Japanese dubbed version of Initial D!

Shocked, simply shocked to see such antics on public roads! Well, someone had to/was going to say it! LOL. Indeed that was a fun outing and belated thanks to Neal for taking the lead as usual. I gave Baby a very nice run that day and was sorry to have to depart early.

Totally unrelated to our group outing I was on Hines Drive last Thursday late afternoon (approx. 530) riding my bike and saw what looked like a Kaiser silver heading towards Northville -- anyone we know? Aftermarket exhaust and sounded/looked very nice.

Best,
Jeff

Yes...guilty again. Thanks for the nice words. Car is actually Silverstone (slightly lighter than Keiser I believe)

Can also share that last week tbox and I had a nice mini NSX-parade on the drive home from Dearborn on Hines. I'm a big fan of the white sp8cship!

Thinking ahead...the leaves appear to be taking their sweet time to darken this year ...but anyone up for a color drive when they do???

A little late...but from the mini-cruise with @bmac after a small employee car show at Ford Engineering Lab.

More pictures from the impromptu lunch gathering in Dearborn today (better luck next time, @bmac ). Interesting side story: I met the owner of the white Nissan 240SX (Mo) on the road while driving to lunch, and after we exchanged some comments, he mentioned that he had recently purchased a black 92 NSX, so I invited him to lunch with us. Turned out he knew @Hass through family friends. What a small world! Although not really a surprise since Hass knows everybody. I'll ask Mo to join us on the forum and give an introduction

That's a good idea! I unfortunately missed the drive/meet up last month and would definitely like to meet the group before the end of sports car season!
