Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

Where and when on sunday, it's supposed to be 60 tomorrow, sounds perfect for another "last nice drive" of the year.

Hass, that is awesome! Where did this get advertised? Xceed? Dang I was right down the street at a brunch.

That clearly turned out to be an epic event, thanks for posting the link!

We also enjoyed a 'unicorn' type of drive, who would have thunk such a righteous day would have presented itself across the SE part of the State in mid-November for automotive enthusiasts?

Patrick,

It was mostly Facebook advertised, we will be having Semi annual gatherings there. It will be great to have more Nsx owners next time. Although majority of the crowd was in their 20's everything went well accept towards the end (I was gone by then) the 300zx was acting a fool. We didn't speed through the island but had some fun our way home.

Scott showed me the pic of the RX7, I definitely want a ride in it.

Hope to make it Wednesday!

Hass, that was an awesome meet! Glad that I caught wind of it on Fchat. I think such a strong attendance deserves to possible turn it into a monthly meet next year?? What a great way to end the season. I'd add some of my pics, but everything is well covered in your link above. Great video too at the top.

Went on Vince's drive then took a quick lap around Belle Isle. Was fun to run into you two and the green car for a nice little NSX cruise on Jefferson.

Well...it was a good time this summer....put her to bed last night at my friends house in Kzoo. :( I need the room in my garage over the winter for the engine swap in the Z. It was a good last cruise taking it there though. Had a good few last pulls before we got off the freeway...it was enjoying the cold air.....wheelspin in 3rd at 80+ :O

Ryan, I am still on the road (but probably going into secured storage either this weekend or next). Brian has recommended that I speak with you on "stitch color management" to leverage your expertise. sounds look a good beer discussion!

We can do that Patrick. Most of what I learned was from this thread...http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/145770-DIY-Interior-Color-Stitching? . I've got a ton of red thread left (though I think you said you wanted to do something different?) and the hook needles still if you want them.

Thx for the link! I am thinking about changing white stitching to tan. Fabric markets? Craft stores? The things we do for autos!

Clean & all tucked away for the Winter!

Looks great, what kind of flooring is that?

Just red plastic Kiwi Tiles that snap together, like RaceDeck, etc.
They are tough, that's for sure!

I was hoping the big piles of freshly blown snow would show up in the photo, but it's more like staring into aircraft landing lights ;-P

Any of you sneak for yet another "one last" drive for the year last weekend ? I was surprised with the mid 40s temperature, no salt and snow combo ! Couldn't resist from taking her out for a spin

I didn't get out last weekend but I'm certainly believing this weekend (forecast 46-48 clear both days) I will. We could gather mid-afternoon for a 1-2 hour drive down through Saline, Macon, Tecumseh, Manchester, and Bridgewater.....
LBBP is cleaned and prepared for a long winter's sleep but Imola is dirty and wants to "hit it."

Rex was driven and washed last weekend but may still want to come out and play.

Ryan, big deal -- I used to be able to do that in my /77 Chevy Caprice Classic with the engine in place -- LOL. You have been busy it appears. My NSX disappeared around noon today until next year. Let's just say that Amy is very happy that the two daily drivers can now live in the garage. While I'd like to report that similar to your Z, I'm giving Baby a heart transplant, a 3.5 litre NA stroker is not in my Christmas stocking this year.

Can you guys believe the price that Larry Webster's car went for on Bring a Trailer? Insanely amazing.

Best wishes to all for the holiday season.

Jeff

FWIW I am heading out for a drive at about 2:45 P.M. this afternoon. 'Sposed to clear and be sunny at/by 3 pm. Going to head SW.

I'll check back here for any other interest before departing!
