lunch with ChopsJazz, Dtrigg and Queenlives

11;30 works fine with me. I should be able to get my shirt back from the cleaners by then.

LOL!:biggrin::biggrin: That's funny. I was just telling someone that we're having lunch on Friday and how funny you guys are. Looking forward to it.

Hey guys, I'm getting hungry. Although my dry cleaner lost my shirt, but I may have a suitable replacement.

Lunch soon? How about Cameron's in HMB?

OOOO... Crazy Hawaiian shirt day?! I'm in. Works been slow lately... maybe no one will miss me for a couple of hours

i'm in - just let me know when / where.

btw, i believe sahtt will be in town in the very near future - how about we include him / others as they are interested / available?

I'll try to be there if it's close enough that I can sneak out of work for it.. HMB is probably a bit far for me on a workday, although google maps claims 30 minutes each way which is almost reasonable...

haven't heard from doug lately, but hope to include brian, josh and doug if possible.

Anyone got an installer recommendation?

Ouch Brian, that's terrible. Is that vandalism or the result of the hatch slamming shut? Fortunately, you don't need an installer for this, as the part simply bolts into place. Perhaps we can find you a used piece in the Prime Marketplace, some here have replaced theirs with lexan to shed some weight.

How can I help?

Brian,
Sorry to hear about/see your rear window. Looks like someone took a baseball bat to it.:mad::mad: Where did this happened? Hope it is a fast and easy fix.

Actually, none of the above. I was driving the car at the time... It literally just exploded on me as I was winding my way up the hill. I presume it was just the right stress in just the wrong direction... either that or someone in my 'hood doesn't like me.

$250 deductible, so I guess that's the worst case out of pocket scenario. Assuming that the glass company can locate the part. Good thing the wife is out of town...

Bizarre! Have you ever heard of this happening to anyone else on Prime before?

You're driving up hill too fast. It's like an airplane climbing, low pressure on top, and the rear window is getting suck out. I think you're rear window is acting like an airplane flap, and is trying to get you more lift without stalling your NSX. It is a special NSX feature on DD. Good to know there is no foul play involved. Hope you get your window fix soon.

Wow. Sure looks like an entrance and exit wound! But that would be an impressive shot on a moving vehicle..

I'm going to have to miss this lunch - the concert I had tickets for in LA on Saturday got moved to this Thursday..

Brian,
I may have found you some used, tinted, glass from a Prime member. Are youble to get new replacement glass or will glass from a '98 work?

Thanks for the legwork Ken, but getting the glass ended up being a pretty straightforward task. It just had to be ordered from the dealer.

To add to the general knowledge base... The manufacturer is required to supply replacement glass for 10 years. I suspect, though I'm not certain, that the hatch didn't change over the lifetime of the NSX. So, we ought to be able to get hatch replacements until at least 2015.

No prob Brian. It really wasn't "legwork" at all, as all I did was sit on my butt and contact a couple guys.

That's worth at least a "free" water at the next lunch.
