Got pulled over on the way home. Traffic was bumper to bumper. So, I thought I would be a little innovative... Got pulled over for driving a Hoveround in the bike lane. You guys think I should fight it?
bummer but yes, i do think you should fight it - especially if he got you with a radar or laser unit... heck, even vascar. (btw, you might not have gotten caught if you'd been practicing with ken and his posse last weekend on the twisties... you would have known how to weave in and out of traffic, leaving that big cruiser in the slow lane.)Got pulled over on the way home. i think you can beat this ticket, doug - and i believe there are some other very helpful threads on prime about beating this kind of abusive treatment by the money-grubbing man. some recent ones even have "assume the position" re-enactment photos to help in situations like the one you found yourself in. come to think of it, did you take a self portrait of you and the officer as you were being busted? if so, i'm sure ken would be happy to compare techniques.

Thanks Hal. Really appreciate the vote of confidence. I have a call into Ken. We know how many times he has had to deal with the "man" and how many time he should have gone to the big house, slammer, stoney lonesome, con college, hoosegow, gladiator academy, joint, but worked the system and avoided the "man".
It wasn't so much of the "Hoveround in the bike lane" violation as it was being strip searched along the side of the road in front of all of that slow moving traffic.:redface: So now I have the Hoveround ticket plus the "man" also got me on a public nudity violation as well.
Caught me on the dash cam he said.
