LED Rear Tail Lamps!?!?!?

I have not followed this thread lately, but i suppose you wanna work around the problem that the leds give coz off the small current draw, resulting in a fast blinking turnsignal.... (right?)

Have you tought about modifying the actual circuit which checks the current?
Might be really easy thing to do.

Dunno though, never looked at them.

I'm going to look into this - this is a picture of the relay circuit panel (courtesy of winreboot).
I believe the current detectors are those wire loops on the left side - that seems to be a common theme in these devices. I'm not sure how you would go about modifying that!
The issue would be not to modify it to work with a new load, (because the load may be different for various individual applications) but just to eliminate the load detector all together. I'll need to reverse engineer the original circuit schematic from the hardware, then go from there.

That PCB doesn't look to difficult. The wireloops are indeed the serial resistors where across a voltage is measured, to know if a bulb is out.
Let me know if i can be of any help, but i'm sure you can tackle this one yourself.
At least your not stuck with some mambo-jambo customized IC's.
