How many So-Cal drivers have a UHF radio for the club frequencies and plan on using it for the JGTC event? I'm wondering if I should get one.

If you plan on attending more NSX events then you might want to consider getting a club radio. They are invaluable for drives and caravans. :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: If you need the frequency do a search in the FAQ.

If you are still interested in Joining this event (or you are just sitting on the fence) you need to read post # 114 of this thread and ACT FAST as the REAL cutoff time is This comming Tuesday the 30th!.

This sounds like it's going to be awesome. I'm rather new here, and have very recently purchased a NSX from a fellow member, but which I'm scheduled to take delivery just a few days before this event.

I live in SoCal and am tempted to go, but scheduling for the 18th may be a little sticky for me. I looked at the JGTC website and learned that attendees have in/out privileges for the duration of the event, but what about the VIP parking situation? If needed, would I be able to leave and then come back to the assigned VIP area?

You have a good question and I will give you the best answer I can. I believe the VIP Paarking will be able to be come and go as everyone will need to be able to take their cars out to Autocross and do the Fan lap. So, yes I think it should not be a problem.

Sorry to not have a definate answer, but I am waiting for the event organizers to tell me how this is all going to work and they are waiting until Nov 30 to tell me. :redface:

You can join right now! Just go to the club website here. If you print the Membership Registration Form (PDF) and fax it in with your credit card number, or if you click on the Link to Paypal to pay using a Paypal account, your membership is usually processed within 24-48 hours, with your member number sent in an e-mail confirmation.

FINAL NOTICE

As of now we have 18 cars and 29 people that are having dinner together. Last chance to sign up till 12PM PST today.

Than I will be giving Bobby Bahas the head counts and deposit.

I believe that the tickets will be sent to Ca_AGNSX two weeks prior to the event, and he will be sending them out to everyone. This is based on information that I read when purchasing the tickets through the JGTC website.

I can also vouch that yesterday or possibly today he should be receiving the peel-off mailing labels for the mailing.
 
Last I spoke with Steve (Ca_AGNSX) he said the promoters wouldn’t even talk to him until November 30. I know he is working diligently on organization for us. I would expect to hear from him within a few days. :smile:

Coolnsx mentions the Fairfield Inn in the previous page. Others are already staying there. I reserved my room there a couple of weeks ago.

The tickets are coming soon (I hope!)

I know it is getting close to the date for this WONDERFUL event but I am still waiting for the event organizers to send me the tickets. As soon as I receive them I will send them to each of you. The event organizers were waiting until November 30 to stop selling Car Club Passes before they send the tickets to me.

Please be patient just a little longer. Beleive me I wouldn't have don it this way :mad:
