TCS aside, it seems to me that a key element is being ignored here. If these are to be for track events in the hands of an experienced driver, I can't imagine that the front/rear contact patch ratio of this combination would result in a balanced car. Sure you could compensate with bars etc, but I'd rather see a 235 or 245 front, or more likely stick with the 225 front and go with a 255 rear, which would also be great on your rims. With r compound tires you don't really need to go that much wider. And remember, you also add weight (unsprung) and rolling resistance as the size goes up.
