I'm right there with EndlessNSX. The NSX's are dogs compared to some of the little tuners coming out today. It was meant to be a luxury sports car and thats what it is. I have a 92 and I bet for back in the day it was one of the hottest things out there. I has been motified but I tell my girl I can't believe how many people admire my ride and it's 14 years old. It's a timeless design and you gotta admit, that if you don't change something like the design for as long as you make the car then you must have done something right the first time.

I would rather own an NSX than a cheap tin car anyday. There. Got smoke by an Evo 9 few days ago but not by much and mine is an automatic.:biggrin: I bet NSX got more look than the Evo. The same goes to people who like to compare NSX and the Skyline GTR. You're not really comparing the best in the line. Should be stock GTR and NSX-R or modded with modded. The fault on this guy in the video was he didn't check who he was racing with just like the F&F movie (Ferrari and modded Supra).

Unlike alot of folks here, I enjoy comparing and discussing cars. If anyone seems have anything bad to say about the NSX it instantly becomes a Witch Hunt. Ridiculous....some of you treat the NSX like its a religion.

Jup, that is the impression I get too... anyone who posts anything that is no hymn about the NSX gets flamed, posts like 'go kill yourself' or requests to leave the board are getting common. And it's not that everyone in here is like Hugh who got rode over in a Merc in their childhood.
It seems like people are hiding behind their 5000 posts numbers and board supporter shields to pick on new guys who just joined the board.
This is a common problem in car forums dedicated to more exclusive and expensive cars so I guess it's just a matter of time till this forum got some sort of confirmation-method so only NSX owners can join and post. Therewith you guys can keep on picking but the good old 'you 'ain't got no NSX you cheap bastard so you need to downtalk it, go die' flame is out of order.

This is an nsx forum, we more than anyone know that the nsx isn't a high horsepower car, we know the nsx is sporting a 15 year "young" automotive design, we know a turbo'd teg, civ or whatever will give the nsx a tough run if not beat it in a straight line. IT'S NOT NEWS.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any rude comments or posts (unless original poster edited it out or something). All I see is a link to a race between souped up crx vs. NSX....C-Speed just made a joke (hence the wink)...I really don't see what the problem is.

I agree, I think it's just a big misunderstanding. I know I'm just reiterating what other people have said already but I'm sure we didn't buy NSX's for raw speed. I bought it because of the way it makes me feel (isn't that a song??:biggrin: ). Sure I could've bought a an EVO or STI and throw in a few thousand in mods and have a straightline monster, but I didn't want to have a car that I would be happy with only when I step on the accelerator - instead I wanted to have a car that would make me happy ALL the time, even if my foot was off the pedal. The NSX does just that for me and I'm sure it does for other members as well.

I'm not saying EVO's and STI's are inferior. They are very nice cars and a blast to drive! And for some people they provide the same feeling that I get with my NSX, but just not for me.

And yes, IMO the NSX is freaking SLOW! I've had a single turbo MKIV supra, and even in stock trim, it was way faster than my NSX. I had a 12-sec turbo Integra, and yes, that was hands down faster than my nsx, I also had a 12sec all-motor integra, and yes that also was way faster than my NSX.

And guess what.. my Honda Challenge H1 EG Civic is WAY faster than my NSX.

Again, with the utmost respect - please re-read the post made in its ENTIRETY before passing judgement. I find it simply amazing how people seem to enjoy selectively choosing certain phrases from a quote to make someone look completely one sided (just like the news/media )

If you read the entire post, you'll notice that I also own an NSX. How can someone be an owner of an NSX and NOT be passionate about it?

Wow, I posted this video just for nostalgia notice its in picture & video gallery. I have wanted an NSX from the first time i saw one and finally have one. One thing I know about Japanese products/cars is that they not only imitate but they enhance and refine as well. I believe that the NSX lines came from euro exotics and Honda not only did a good job but surpassed most opposition at that time. I got the car thinking i would never mod it I bought an exhaust system and it was all over. A CTSC, rims/Tires, coil over shocks and no end in sight, yikes i am hooked. I love this car as c-speed loves his we both live north of Seattle. He flew to Texas to get his I flew to Nevada to look at 1 and LA to look at 5 or 6 and ended up having one trucked here from Tennessee tell me that's not being a little obsessed. I met c-speed when i went to do a pre ctsc install dyno and the people with the dyno told me they new someone in town that does their tuning and happened to be on the way to pick up an NSX in Texas. I called him and that is how we met and became friends because of a car well not just any car an NSX, LOL. Goofy but true he's my NSX brother from another mother in B'ham. I dont know what all the hostility is about anyone who is attacked like he was would defend themselves if i had known this thread would take this direction i would SURELY never have posted the stupid video. NSX's rule there are allot of cars faster but not to many are hand built all aluminum works of art! Stop the Hate!!!

I agree with you completely, this dude has issues. I know my CRX can out run NSXs I've done so already but it's not the point. The two cars are SO different it's not even funny. I could have a FX500 kit and then some on my 1998 NSX for the amount of money I dumped into my CRX. However, the CRX means so much to me that I would have spent 3 times that amount and I still wouldn't have cared, I guess it's all relative. Anyway, like I said before the NSX can't be compared to any other car, nor can the CRX. They are 2 of the best cars Honda ever discontinued. I take a lot of pride in rebuilding my CRX the way it should have been from the factory (IMO). However, for all out beauty, comfort, balance, and refinment the CRXs big brother the NSX will always win
