NA1 has always been on the back of my mind.

When mid life crisis hit(during Covid times), I attempted to bid for one on bringatrailer, but I was $500 short to win the one I wanted.

Realizing prices were getting out of reach, I put the thought to sleep and looked for something else to scratch that itch. I ended up getting an AZ1, and a 964 which I was very happy about them.

Last year Netflix introduced the Senna series. This got me hooked in F1 and Senna, which got me watching all the drive to survive seasons and the Senna documentary!

Since then I have been addicted to Senna, I have been daily checking NA1 availability and even booked a trip to Suzuka to watch F1 in April 😎

Just last week, a local Acura dealer listed a 1995 NA1 that I could not refuse. Jumped the gun and now I can’t wait for spring! IMG_9986.jpeg

congrats, welcome, where on earth are you?

Nice, you have a solid nsx owners group up yonder

Congrats welcome to ownership.
I was looking at AZ-1s and never pulled the trigger when they were cheaper, now they are out of the price range I want to spend on one. I still eye them from time to time. How do you like the tiny Mazda?

What’s your car’s story/history? How was experience buying it?
A two owner car. Acura dealership owner owned for the past 25 years. Maintenance looks up to date according to service history.
Their price was relatively great. The sales rep was showing all the messages from autotrader on how multiple appointments are scheduled to view the car, so I was kinda rushed into buying it. Hopefully no regrets 🤞

Loved it, the most attention grabbing car you can get. Questions and cell phones pointing at you everywhere you go. They are slow but very agile. Loved going hard at corners with it, it was like driving a go kart.

I regret selling it as I was trying to gather funds to sell both my az1 and the 964 for a 992 for comfort with the family. The 992 deal ended up didn’t work out, so I now only have my 964 and the NA1 🥲

I was looking for a red one to park next to my NSX (or put in the trunk :D ) Maybe one day if prices ever balance out. I definitely like them better than the Honda Beat and Cappuccino.

Have you checked bring a trailer? I think they have came down a bit.
Luckily i sold at the highest point.

I have not.

What an experience it must've been buying a NA1 NSX at an Acura dealer recently. I'm jealous... Congratulations!
