Last weekend I finished installing my headers, along with new oil pan with SOS baffle in it, new chin spoiler, and front license bracket, both from SOS. I saw cars at NSXPO with both of those products and liked the way they looked. I spent a bunch of 2 - 3 hour sessions on this over four days. I had the golf course maintenance shop all to my self that time. The shop has a lift and air tools, so I had most anything needed for tools. I followed "DIH Headers" by Jefferey Albertine posted on this site 2/4/05 and I encountered no real problems, other than I had to use a lot of heat on the bolts on both sides of the cats. All the manifold nuts came off easy and even the oxygen sensors came out easy, allthough I had bought new ones anticapating they wouldn't come out. I had no trouble at all getting the front beam back in place. I had epoxyed the nut for the engine mount in place per Jefferey's advice. The headers are from Topspeed and the cat back exhaust is Dali. I must say I CAN NOT imagine doing this job without the car being on a lift as I have seen posted by others. Howard

I assume you meant 'DIY' and not 'DIH'
I tried doing this myself a few months back in my garage. I don't have a lift but rather had the car backed up onto jacks and tools in hand. I didn't get very far before I realized that it wasn't something I was going to be able to handle on my own.
I totally respect anyone that has done this job themselves.
Did you notice a difference in the a$$ dyno after doing them?
