going fast

next time you post a video of you street racing in Alabama, at least PASS the Porsche before you end the movie!!!

and use a better music track then that:redface:

pretty lame:frown:

I like to ruffle the feathers of the buzzards by playing devil's advocate.
The poser you refer to is my gf. In Fast and Furious a supra driver pulls next to a ferrari and asks:
"What's the retail on one of those?"
"More than you can affrod pal - Ferrari"
It was terrible acting and dialogue, but we thought it was funny as hell!!!

Oooooh!!! I got it now...maybe putting F&F plug would have helped....Hmm, then again I hated that movie so probably not much help for me. When you said "poser" did you mean "Poster", LOL...Cuz I don't believe I said your g/f was a poser, Doh!! I hope I didn't. Who am I? Where am I? Who are you??

this was not a race, but two guys driving fast on a stretch of limited access road that they drive every day. QUOTE]

Not racing? Then why does the title say "NSX verse Carrera 4" ?

Anyway, I find it amusing that people are giving you crap for speeding, as if none of them has ever sped. Hypocrites.

Why do you assume that those of us who criticize this behavior has never sped? I'm quite certain that probably all of us has exceeded the posted speed limits on occasion, but speeding through traffic across intersections on a busy highway is painfully dangerous and irresponsible. Posting it on a public website and asking for opinions is childish and deserving of criticism, if not prosecution.

I'm not saying what he did wasn't ridiculous, and the fact that he is justifying it (read- making excuses) is even more ludicrous. I think people who are dumb enough to put stuff like that on the internet deserve to be prosecuted because it shows a complete disdain for the law and everyone on the road. Like he's proud of what he did.

But all I was saying is that I know damn well everyone here has broken the speed limit, so why are so many people acting all righteous? What's the saying about casting the first stone...

Go Go Gadget- Flamesuit!

EDIT- I do acknowledge that what he did is more dangerous than the typical speeding incident because he was going even faster than most speeders and he thinks a GRASS MEDIAN is a safe place to drive at highway speeds (to the OP, make a note to yourself that driving on grass is not a good exit strategy).

We absolutely agree.

I don't think people here are criticizing his breaking of the speed limit, instead it's his blatant and criminal disregard for the safety of others that is problematic. And, of course, his need to justify it online.

As others have said, take it to the track, like this guy.
