I am Looking at changing My ECU to A Mugen one I have a 1995 NSX-T apparently Drive by Wire (not sure) Can I use the 1993 Mugen ECU or will it cause problems ?

Please help, these are hard to come by but totally useless if it dosent work.

It won't work. Your car is OBDII, 1993 ECU isn't.

I've just been told its not the ECU but a ZIF socketed Chip does this make any difference ?

How would I find out if it only changes the Engine Mapping ?

If you don't have dbw.. I don't see how that's going to work - the sensors are not there for the ECU

I'd look for the NSX-R ECU. At least for the NA2, the enhancements make a difference, such as full throttle is open earlier than on stock (think about when you are getting out of the corner.. gives you that 1/10th of a second faster * 100 corners..)

Which takes me to the next question - why doesn't someone just copy the ECU rom and then provide the image. I'm sure that's all that is needed.

It would be a cool mod, people would like it and pay for it.
