ECU harness extension

I'd like to get a couple ECU harness extensions for my cars but haven't found any specifically for the NSX.

Somewhere I ran across a site that claimed that the ECU connectors for the NSX were identical to those on a common non-Honda/Acura import but I've forgotten which. Anyone know?

If you are willing to make the harness yourself (buy the connectors, wires, tools and do the crimping and soldering), the connectors are made by AMP Electronics and are available through their distributors. Go to their web site and you can easily match up the connector with the online documents. I have the part numbers somewhere. Iwill post it when I find them. The wires are just typical high temp wires.

The extender on my car is from Cybernation motorsports. Lee had several of them. I think it was $100.

i purchased a Skunk2 jumper harness for installing a VTEC controller into a OBD1 civic/integra and it matches 3 of the 4 main bottom plugs for the NSX computer.

i cant find one that does all 4 connectors. But all the importing things that i want to tap into are on the 3 plugs that do match.

just a though..... i was going to install a Greddy eManage into my car. Now i'm still debating on picking up a TEC3, or a DTA, still not to impressed by the AEM unit yet.

side note: i figured out the ignition problem for the NSX & eManage. Ordered a ignition adapter specifically for the NSX that is supposed to be used with the HKS F-CON. It allows the factory ECU to sense the ignitor even though the piggy back in inbetween blocking it.

Look at the bottom part. According to Option2, the harness connectors are the same between EVOVIII and NSX...who knew!
