The local news is saying that the weekend is full of sun!!!! Unfortunately, weather forecasters are a select few that get paid well to be wrong. Time will only tell, but at least the initial 'guess' is a good one.

I ordered some new rear tires tonight...with any luck I can have them on and be ready to go before Friday.
Well it seems I am going to be Han Solo on this trip. Got my short shifter, HIDs, and some new tires for the trip. Better get some new MP3 CDs made up; this is gonna be a long drive.

BTW - I have some friends in the area with some RX-8's. Would that be cool if they tagged along - doubt they will be able to make it on short notice, but I though I would ask.

Why won't you have time. Order it online, pick it up with the adapters from someplace and we'll slap it in your car. I'll let you borrow one of my MP3 CD's!! Do you Like Britney Spears?!?! LOL

Holy crap!!! I haven't done that much maintenance on my car since I purchased it 2 years ago. ha, ha. Its only money. Just print up some more!!

I ordered a new set of tires yesterday and am having my '94 transported from Fort Wayne to Indianapolis (~110 miles away) to be dropped off at Penske Honda to have tires installed Thursday. The car has been sitting pretty much since late July so this will be a new experience driving it again.
I ordered a full set of tires from tire rack last week Thursday. They haven't gotten here yet and are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. If they don't get here early in the morning, I will have to wait till Thursday to install them

It's always something. I dropped my car off at Rick Case Acura to have some HID lights installed, along with a short shifter and a couple other things. I warned them that the tires were low on tread. Got there today and they said that one of the wheels showed a little low and to not go pushing the car. Come to find out, the tire wore out to the metal the air inside was exposed. I asked them if they drove the car and they said "yes" :tongue: oh well :frown:
So, I will be a tad delayed. Anyway, I will be there nonetheless.
Oh James, the computer was in Error. I have double the amount of vacation time than what the Kronos showed. Should I take half of Thursday off to try and have Miami Acura install a new fuel filter? Or I can use some of that time to wash the air filter and head out early.

There are two Holiday Inns in Cherokee. This is the older one that is FURTHER away from the casino. Not the Holiday Inn Express at the Casino.

Anyway....tires still have not arrived at Penske, so I will be giving them a call tomorrow to see what is up since they HAVE to get installed tomorrow if I have any hope of leaving Friday.

Have they arrived? Tracking number? I have stock rear wheels with about 2 days of Dragon tread left on them if you need me to bring them with me. SO-3's.

My tires have cords showing....driving them to The Dragon would not be a viable option. I am about to check my email to see if they sent me the tracking numbers.
