Don't use WoodDashDirect

I recently purchased a wood dashboard from WoodDashDirect. I chose them over ExoticWoodDash due to another post on this site from someone who had a bad customer service experience with ExoticWoodDash. But WoodDashDirect may be worse.

The piece for the center dashboard area came too narrow to fit, leaving a gap on either the left side or the right side (I had my choice!). I tried to call them to do a return, but their 800 number is now disconnected. I therefore sent them an email to get a return authorization. No response. A followup email over a week later. No response.

They say they will only accept returns with a return authorization, but they won't give it to you. I have now written a letter to the credit card company, but as they are on the other coast, this may not be covered under the normal credit card dispute rules due to being over 100 miles from my home.

Just wanted to warn the rest of you. Don't buy from these guys. You won't like the product, and you won't get your money back.

Hi Chip:

If you paid using a major credit card I think your OK.. Just call the credit card company and ask to dispute the charge. I don't believe there is a distance limitation, at least there isn't with any of my cards.
