OUCH!

that drive / mileage were a number of years ago, but (until i find evidence to the contrary) i stand by my statement: i calculated 28mpg from home to LA on that drive. my calculations were based on full to the top-of-the-fill-neck en route to the freeway, drove until 1/2 tank mark(ish), re-filled to top-of-the-fill-neck, divided miles driven by fuel added @ re-fill.

you're welcome to add cheese to the bologne if you like, but that's my story and i'm sticking to it :)

Mine is my daily driver - base autorotor kit in an 02.

Its been in for almost 3 years. No issues aside from the leaky fuel line that showed up on day 2. That CTSC is one of the things that I love most about the car.

Totally usable power. Barely more maintenance. Amazing sound. It is all good. I couldnt go back now.

Shouldn't the gas milage all depend on how much you are getting into the boost? If you are driving it like a civic around the cith the mpg should not change much. When you are driving with a heavy foot and hit boost all the time the mpg should go out the window. The real question should be why the hell do you car about gas milage when you are driving an NSX with a blower?

Yes, you are right, you only really see a small loss if your out of the boost.
But who can resist the urge to Boost!
My best tank average down to Nsxpo was 35.5 Imperial mpg down from calgary to Sandpoint Idaho, the next tank was to the TriCities and its was 34.7 Imperial mpg. Thats right up there with the 36 that I use to get without the blower on the highway all the time. Racing up to Seattle, Portland, Chilliwack with Pam and the gang I only got 28.5 but that was boost boost boost driving. Never seen a Lady drive so wild in all my life, well except when she had her head down fixing her stereo at 80 mph!

You are getting 35 mpg on a boosted NSX?

Yep, 481 km. div by 1.61 is 299 miles.
and used 10.093 US gallons makes that:
29.6 US mpg
or 35.5 Imp mpg.
or 12.8 kilometers per litre
or 7.94554219 litres per 100 km

Keep in mind

Your mpg will depend on lots of variables, like tire type and size, alignment setup, weight, bodykit, etc...most importantly though, YOUR RIGHT FOOT!!!

You can do a lot with this car and stay out of boost!
I have a cheap boost gauge in front of me and it is wild how hard i can drive without getting into boost.
