I used a plasti-kote spray from Pep-Boys, GM 7192 which is pretty close to the original - not exact but not wildly different - it could stand to be a touch darker. Its a metallic charcoal which looks pretty good "in-the-flesh"ChrisK said:

I think that when the vent bezel is painted (leaving the vents themselves & clock original) that the door panels are far enough away, it does not look like much difference.
There may be a better colour match somewhere, hard to find just the right one, but I'm happy with this I think.
I was tempted to experiment with red, to match the car - any photoshop guys want to experiment for me?
