Chameleon NSX - Check it out..

JMO. The first time I ever saw this type of paint it was on a Porsche 944 custom convertible about 9 years ago. The paint was used sparingly for show purposes only. When I inquired about the car and the paint, the seller (a collector of import vehicles of rarity) warned me that if it ever marred or damaged, I (potential buyer) would never be able to repair the paint without a costly repaint involving the entire car.

You know of this first hand I see.

Anyhow, since then I have seen this paint used many different times and ways. As an accent, it is purely beautiful. But I am surprised by how many here seem to like the "all over" paint scheme you have chosen. I find that making the entire car chroma-color is similar to taking a fine crystal and adding excessive gold accents. More is less and less is more.

I will be more impressed when color shifting between primary colors is achieved. Within a hundred years or so we should even be able to paint with electroluminescent pigments. Now that should be fun.

Sorry, this is a thumbs down color for me. I expect to see this look on a Ford Fiesta or something. Not an NSX. Sorry again, but that's me.
