Hi guys I had my 1992 NSX completely repainted. The original color was black. Please take a moment to look at the picture and let me know what you guys think. We are all NSX enthusiast , And I would love to know what you guys think??

Let me know if you want to see some more pictures-- I have more pictures when it changes to different colors. This depends on many factors , the sun , shade , temperature , light , and which angle you view it from.

I thought about the same kind of paint for my race helmet a couple years ago but decided it was too "loud", so I probably wouldn’t do it to an entire car. :) But hey, we own these to have fun with them, so if you like it then I think it's great! Are you pleased with the actually quality of the work?

The mustang was the 96 Mystic Cobra...it wasn't that color, it was black/green/purple. That color is very similar to a color offered on the Ford Probe though I believe...although the probe wasn't a chameleon I don't think, and there was no gold like in the bumper of his car.

I think it looks good. I personally wouldn't do it...to me, chameleon paint is for crown vics on 24s, but it looks good!! I'm partial to black and Kandy's :D

Post more pics.

From the 1 pic you have up now, I don't really care for it all that much. It's a neat idea, but just not my style. I like the color the B-pillar looks. I think the whole car done that color might be cool. Still loud, but cool.

Post more pics. Hard to say with just the 1. Probably looks better in person.

Actually, I might like a black NSX with some skimpy, and long, flames running down the car in some kind of color changing paint that's got yellow, orange, and red. That might look cool. Maybe better suited for a Vette or older Camaro though. Do they make paints that change with those colors? Maybe I'd even try it. If I didn't like it, I'd just have it redone black.

Damn, now you have me thinking...

Yes, it is very hard to tell with one pic how this type of paint really looks. Every angle and differnt light the color will shift to a different shade. Generally these types of paint jobs do look better in person. I'm not sure if you were able to see the Supra painted like that in the local car shows, but in person it really is eye catching.

Kenny:

Your car looks great. I know you spent a lot of time and money to get the car painted. Complete color changes cost a fortune to get done correctly. A lot of owners are biased to factory colors. I am in that boat. I just had my car painted from bumper to bumper at great expense, but chose to keep the factory color. I have done color changes on a few cars (Porsche 911,300ZXTT) and it was a very tough job to to right.

I own a black NSX; however, I can appreciate a person's desire to stand out from the crowd. The car looks fine, and will be known as your NSX to all who see the car.

I think the Ford paint went from green to purple. I have seen a few different variations of the color-changing paint.

Enjoy the hard work! I am sure the car turns MANY heads.

It looks pretty good. The paint itself cost an arm and a leg! Looks like you found a good painter to shoot it smooth. I've seen some cars with this color and the car had a lot of shades and looked uneven. For those who don't know, shooting this color is similar to shooting candy. The slightest mistake will ruin it.

tell me all about it:mad:
i have had my car done with a flip paint and it looks crap compered to the one above with regard to the colour actually changing.the body shop that did the job didn't put enough topcoat paint on the car so the colour is very darkand it only changes colour on a bright sunny day.

I want to get chameleon paint, so that from one angle it looks like a 360 Modena, and from another angle it looks like a yacht... :D

hot wheels!!

i like it. it reminds me of my old 1967 Hot Wheels car,the "Silhouette"!! cool.

Here's a chameleon vert to go with your coupe:

this may be the same X that was in Atlanta for a good while, even as of last year. If it has the cream-beige seats. This car was owned by an ex-Atlanta Falcon player.

It would be kool to make a little MPEG clip going around the car so people who may have never seen this paint in 'action' could check it out . . I think its what you wanted and it came out real well, so therefore its perfect. Good Job!
