I will be leaving for the event on the morning of the 13th. I'll be leaving from the downtown area if anyone whats to drive down together. Just post here and we can work out the details. Also this is my first time, If any one can supply directions to the track and how long it might take to get their doing the the speed limit :D that would be great.

TIA,

Looking forward to a great day!

I can get to 94/55 from Appleton in 3 hours, and gingerman in 5, so I would say 2 hours for you!

thanks for the info.

I will plan for 3 hours and the time change.

I pick up I-80 East at LaGrange Rd in Frankfort and take it to I-94 E and continue into Michigan. Exit I-196 N and go North twenty miles to Phoenix Rd exit. Turn right and go 6 miles east to GingerMan. That's about two hours worth.

Thanks for the info chuck.

I have just one more question, How long is the school.
I'm guessing it should end by 3 or 4 o'clock reason i ask,
I have to work at 7pm.(chicago time)

TIA

All you gotta do is go through the previous posts in this topic, and you come up with...

1. Gene (KGP)
2. Nick (matteni)
3. keN (nsxtasy)
4. Dave (DDozier)
5. Doug (dnyhof)
6. Tom (T Bell) (tentative) (NOT via ferry)
7. Steven (NSX 3.0) (tentative; mentioned in T Bell's post)
8. Manuel (nsx1164)
9. Dan (DanO)

And, of course, Chuck (Chuck) and Phil (no username).

EDIT: Updated list.
Just finished instructing with the Audi Club event at GMan, and ran into John Vasos and the Mirendas (Chuck and Mike) at the track. Their new RADICAL looks great (will post pix later).

Also there:
- Mark B (MarkB) -- yellow NSX was at the Audi school, and will be there tomorrow as well
- ran into Tom B and Steven S at the hotel parking lot

Here are a few of my pictures I know there will be more from some other people. It was nice meeting some new faces. The only bummer for my day was I would get about five laps in and my needle was in the Red zone  ...Thanks to Dano and Dave for helping me out getting rid of the air in the coolant lines....we had a nice relaxing ride home and the car was fine.

One more of Dano...

I tried taking a bunch of action shots of cars on the track, but my old kodak camera was so slow that I'd end up with a picture of the road!

I did manage to get a few of some NSX's, I didn't think of it until the end to ask the gal at the watch tower to take some pics of me running my car. That's what I wanted the most. But there's always next time.

Nice day, nice folks, nice time. We had ten NSXs there - four red (Chuck, Dave, Doug, mine), one yellow (Mark), one white (Jung), two black (Steven, Tom), and two silver (Manuel, Dan).

Best line: When I noticed a guy there with his F355, I said, "Oh, that's the Italian NSX!" :D

Thanks to Dave from St. Louis for helping with my brake troubles!!! OEM brakes need a LOT of help!!!! Also thanks to Dave again and Dan for helping with Steve's coolant issues. (in which a cure STILL has NOT been found!)

Thanks to Dave AGAIN and Mark B. for having a few great bumper to bumper sessions with me in the advanced group. It was a blast!

Thanks to Steve J for providing laughs with the spin, and his "cone" which caused my spin! :D

Thanks to Ken (which backed into the stall in the picture with exactly 55,000.00 miles on the odo!) for the use of the Harbor Freight jack many times over.

Thanks to Manuel, the Mirendas, John V. and all of the other instructors.

NSXChitown and Doug, it was great meeting you guy's.

And last but not least, thanks to Steve for tailing me home, while I nursed a slipping clutch 300 miles home.

Some more pics......

Dave

Thanks Dave.
I like the color. It seems like everyone had fun.
I wish I could have come just for the Radicals.
Well, maybe I will get an event in before the winter. :(
Thanka again
Len

Phil and I would like to thank everyone who attended our event. We also greatly appreciate the kind words and pictures that are posted here so those who couldn't make it can also enjoy a little piece of the action. The track workers always comment on what a great group the NSX owners are and how much fun we have. I just say "what do you expect from such an intelligent group of people? Look at the cars they choose to drive!" Thanks again everyone...lets do it again soon. :)

If anyone is good at downsizing pics I took a bunch that are around 350-500k in size. I'll email them to you if you can make them fit here in this thread.

They need to be under 100 kb. The problem with shrinking, is the resolution gets crappy. The best is to take the pics at the smallest setting on your camera (more pics fit in memory as well this way) One way to keep the resolution, but to reduce the kb to "crop" out the sky, grass, blacktop etc. If your pic is just over 100, say 130 just crop out some sky and re-save. keep doing this until it is 99 kb. If your pic is huge, say 500 kb, then you will have to "re-size" it down, and we will just have to deal with a little blurriness. Good luck.

If you still cannot figure it out, email them to me and I will gladly post them!

Only to post them as attachments.

Another way you can include photos in your post, at their original resolution, is to upload them to a website (for example, http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com is one free service you can use for this purpose) which allows remote linking, and then you can include them in your post with the [ IMG ] function. For more information, click here.

Here are the attatchments from Doug. The first two were reduced, the rest were cropped. Hey Ken how can I get Yahoo Photos to work in the Forum? I know I can email the link, but couldn't get it to work in the forum.
