Pictures from the Eibach Honda meet in SoCal...
I mean, i've seen some ugly ass body kits in my time, but I don't care if this is uber-jdm-time-attack or not, its still hideous!!!
Anyone know who makes that?
Take it easy guys... Danny's a buddy of mine. He's trying to work on a carbon-kevlar theme as he has a wing, engine cover, RWG, seats and now a front lip all made of the stuff.
Way to dog out a fellow Prime member though... shows class.
Lance: Hey, whattya think about Trudi? She ain't got a boyfriend. You wanna hang out, get high?
Vincent: Which one's Trudi? The one with all the shit in her face?
Lance: No, that's Jody... That's my wife.

The point of modifying is to make the car more appealing to yourself, right? With that paint scheme the car sure is one of a kind, but as long as it's appealing to the owner I can't find anything wrong with it. Looks pretty aggressive.
02#154: Didn't it go like .. "the one with all that metal in her face?"
Your thread title asks "Can someone explain???"
Yes, I can explain.
It appears that you had a sudden lapse of judgement and thought it would be a good idea to post negative comments about another Prime member's car when he did nothing to you.
Does that explain it?
The car looks great, the wheels/engine cover/taitec replica diffuser/etc. look good, but I am not a fan of the lip... way too aggressive for an nsx, it looks like something out of a eclipse/civic/etc. body kit.
I am sure its something custom, and it probably took some effort obtaining, but it doesn't fit the car at all... jmo.
Wow, didn't mean to stirr up a hornets nest.
Blury, my comments were a bit harsh, for that I apologize. I couldn't tell if they were Kevlar from the low quality pics I had found, but that changes things in my mind... Especially with all of the matching Kevlar parts. When I just glanced at it I honestly thought someone had bondoed together something on the front end. I didn't realize it was an actual kit.
If I had seen it in real life i'm sure my opinion would have differed. I think its that it wasn't painted that really made it stand out in my mind (My first thought was some kid was pulling the post-F&F non-painted body kit thing), and not knowing they were kevlar. Now that i've been informed I retract my statement.
I'm glad you like the modifications and your car, more power to you!
