It does a quick transition from understeer to oversteer.

As opposed to a Mustang that predominantly understeers or a 930 Porsche that predominantly oversteers.

Do Mustangs predominantly understeer? I ask because folks usually use front-wheel-drive cars as examples of cars that understeer. I didn't realize that Mustangs (rwd) do too.

Many front engined cars are set up to understeer for safety sake, i.e. the general public. Many people with Mustangs mess with the stock suspension to make them more neutral, but as a rule, they understeer from the factory.

1981 four banger four speed, twice as much car as engine!
1988 V-8 GT, twice as much engine as car!!
