BCS needs to go away

At this point in time, I don't think it matters who comes out of the SEC championship game in respect to a National Title shot. That is almost assuredly going to be between the current #1 & 2 in the polls. I think they would give the best game to determine the true champion. Everybody else will just have to be happy to get to a bowl game and take care of business their.
After watching both USC and Texas on TV, I have to say they are pretty much head and shoulders above all other teams this year.
Let's just hope that the game this year will live up to the hype unlike last years joke of a game.

USC's next game is against 8-1 Fresno State Bulldogs, they play UCLA also with one loss the following week. Please compare that to the cupcakes Texas is playing.

Any team that can go undefeated in the hardest conference in the ncaa (SEC), plus the championship game, has accomplished alot more than someone that just wins the pac10. Yes, usc is a great team, but come on.

Enjoy the victory, it'll be UGA or LSU in the bcs, not auburn

Looks like the bcs might luck out this year, with only 2 top tier undefeateds. If 'bama won out it would have been another can of worms.

Nobody should argue that the Miami win @ VT was the most impressive win any team has shown this season. I just hope USC or Texas slips and falls (preferably UT) and opens the door.

GO 'CANES!!

UT shows no signs of slipping. As much as I hate them (2 of my cousins went there) it looks like this is their year. Vince Young has never been so good. Since he ran all over Michigan in the bowl Rose bowl he hasn't let up.
I'd love to party on 6th street after they win the championship. It's gonna get pretty wild down there!!

I too was impressed at how well Miami handled VT.
