AZ Detail day? Any interest?

Any interest in having a wash/detail day somewhere in Phoenix?

Thinking cold beverages, perhaps have a professional detailer teach a session if there is enough interest, watch some football on garage tv, BBQ some eats, compare results of detailing "goop", etc.

Looks like triple digit temps are done for the year so driving weather is here.

If your ride is dirty from haboobs, driving on racetracks, random fingerprints, daily driving, spiderwebs, scratches, or just sitting in the garage collecting dust... show it some love

Thinking BBQ, watch some football, enjoy some beverages, and clean cars together

These are rare vehicles after all... lets take care of em

Definitely a "bring your favorite goop" event (polish, glaze, sealant, wax)

I could suggest my place, and you could have whoever you want to do the detailing come over. I use a guy who is absolutely meticulous. I don't really need another detail yet, so it would be on someone else to pay for his time.

regarding a detail class, where all the goops are compared, sounds to me about as exciting as watching someone else's hair growing. But that's just me. I'd be happy to drink beer and watch TV after checking out everyone else's rides.

I also have a 4 post lift if someone wants to get under their car.

Definitely a self-detail/collaborative detail kind of thing... not pro

Only mentioned pro in case folks wanna learn some process/methods/tricks of the trade, that was just me thinking aloud via keyboard

Ok guys,

i am on call for work on sunday. that means about 20% chance of having to go in. So most likely i'll be available to host, assuming we want to do it at my place. I'm near 67th ave and 101 fwy.... near i17/101 basically.

So there should be an alternative plan in place in case i can't be available. Like paradise bakery or something. Then just check the morning of to make sure i'm not cutting out.

I can have my detail guy come for car washes. he is pretty meticulous. he does $45 washes (about an hour), and $100 mini details, and $190 full (7 hours). Maybe i'll book him for a couple of my cars, and you guys can decide if you want his attention turned onto your car while its there.

BY THE WAY. this would be a mid morning deal, like 10am-noon or whenever.
