95 engine rebuild

High miles alone are not cause for a rebuild, as long as the engine was well maintained.

I have 141k miles on my 91, I was thinking of upgrading with internals and getting the engine ready for boost. I was also wondering on costs, to change everything brand new again.

Just rebuilt the lower end of my '91 for a total of about $10,600 for everything. They esitmated $5,000-$8,000 when the job began then the day I went to pay my bill the total was $10,600. I was VERY upset...
