Some new shots of the rockers and the spoiler, to show off the depth and color of the Nord Gray Metallic paint. The car itself is still not painted, but should be next week.

I know what I you mean ref progress ... I have some projects that have been on-going for years ...

But you know were all supporting and looking forward to the updates ... Your NSX is going to be stunning when refreshed!

Progress is progress! If you don't mind me asking...how much does doing this run?

Depends on where you go and who you know, but generally a repaint the same color about $5-6k, color change is closer to $8-10k. But the owner of Bells & Vaughn is a friend of mine, so I’m getting the hookup since i built them a killer new web site, just don’t know what that means yet.

I hope so! It's a risk painting any car a new color, and we all know how good NSXs look in black. Judging on how good yours looks in gray though, i have confidence in my choice to color change my car.

This is amazing. A true devotee of the (now discontinued in favor of orange) best NC1 color

I would be thrilled to somehow involve my '17 Nord Grey in a photoshoot with this car.

I'd be up for that. Where are you located?

SF Bay Area, but don't mind the odd excuse to drive south. Just have to find someone good down there to get all the I-5 bugs off before taking pictures!

The progress continues... painting the little details

Now that the door jambs and the outer perimeter of the doors are painted, the doors have been reinstalled onto the car.

As of this morning, the car is in the paint booth, getting painted. Starting with the Berlina Black roof.

The paint portion of the job is now complete! Clear coat has been laid down and the color literally pops! No regrets!

Next steps: put the car back together, color sand, polish, replace various body seals, install the new Circuit Werks exhaust and figure out what to do about wheels. Tons more photos to come!

Paint is now dry and the car has been rolled out into the sunlight so that we can get a good look at the color. Thoughts? Next steps, color sanding, polishing and reassembly.
