Surprise! Car #289, 19UNC1B01NY000289 was put up for sale today at
Crown Acura. Crown has had #018 listed for sale for some time now. #289 is painted in Long Beach Blue Pearl, wrapped in ebony Alcantara/leather interior. According to the NSX
Type-S Tracker, this car has come full circle. It was originally sold by Crown and then it landed at Ferrari of Naples. The price has come down to $249,991, from $294,991. <<< looks like a typo there to me. None the less, the mileage reported is 27 miles just 1 more mile since its listing in Naples. I don't disagree with the lower price because this car does not have the lightweight package, but it has the CF interior (really just the steering wheel because late production lacked the CF gauge cover supply). Calipers are Red and again it has iron rotors. Updated pictures will be posted here when they become available. Just a guess, I believe Ferrari of Naples probably took this car in on trade and since it didn't sale quickly moved it on.
Update: #289 caught my attention again because it showed up at 2023 Cleveland Auto Show. There some new photos and video reviews of it. However, car #289 is now back at Crown Acura. Huh? In fact, if you want to see the latest condition of the car (which seems perfect), there's a new
YouTube video on it. But here's what bothers me. In the description, they said this, "Sold originally by us, transported to FL and then shipped back without being driven." I made a guess there may have been a trade. With this I looked up the registered transaction on this car.
It's true the car has hardly traveled but the movement is just strange to me. None the less, good to know the history. Whom ever buys this car they are now getting a much better deal than 3 months ago.
