Car was driven by the President of Crown Acura for its first 780 miles. Sold in Early Feb 2023 and delivered to me in Texas and lives with her 2002 Imola/Imola sister.Tonight's NSX Type S, #018, 19UNC1B03NY000018, arrived at Crown Acura early February 2022. You can still see snow under the parking lot lights while #018 was pulled off the transport truck in the factory protective wrap on its way to a garage bay at the dealership. Seems this car sat on the showroom floor for short period before it was delivered (or sold) to the current owner. Fortunately, they waited for the paint to cure before taking it to Esoteric Detail for a full PPF wrapping in May 2022. According to the Todd Cooperider, Founder and Detailing Enthusiast, this was the first of 6 Type S' they have provided protective services that year. This car has the distinction of being the first Berlina Black car off the production line and "Triple Black" at that (paint, interior and wheels, LOL). The next one was car #021, coincidently, is also a triple black car except it has leather/Alcantara seats. My notes also indicate this car did spend time up on Ebay as well, curious. It was fully loaded with ebony leather seats, lightweight package, Berlina Black Gloss wheels over red calipers and XM radio technology package. You can also see in the interior photo; this car has the CF dash visor. Photos by Crown Acura and the finished one in the upper left is courtesy of Esoteric Detail.

Great idea. When we complete the 350, I'll create a comprehensive montage that hopefully can reveal a bigger image. Gee I wonder if there's a program for that? You know what would be cool, the Ford GT program included a nice poster of little pics of every second gen GT showing # and color combo..and that was for 1300 or so cars, 350 would be easy..
Gotham Gray was my first choice and I got bumped to LBBP which is still amazing. I wrote a letter to Acura about how I live in Hawaii and want the GGMM paint and I'd be the only one here with this car. I even go to car events, worked for Acura in the 90's and currently own a NC1 blah blah blah then to see they never even made all 70 is very disappointing....Time for another Gotham Gray Matte Metallic car. Today, #209, 19UNC1B0XNY000209, is under the spotlight. We all know Acura announced up to 70 GGMM paint order slots were available. In particular, the press release had this to say about it, "Available in 10 colors, the 2022 NSX Type S will be the first Acura product in North America available in an exclusive matte paint finish. The Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio uses a five-layer process that paints individual panels before they are mounted to the car, allowing each panel to completely cure before the next coat of paint is applied. For the even more sinister appearance of Gotham Gray, a clear matte metallic finish is applied as the fifth layer instead of the instead of the glossy clearcoat normally used. Its production will be limited to just 70 of the 350 NSX Type S models that will be built." Of the 70 allocations, Canada received 5 and Japan 10. Today, the NSX Type S tracker accounts for 49 cars in the USDM, 5 cars in Canada and 10 cars in Japan. That's 64 of the possible 70. I said it before and from what I am seeing, not all of the 70 GGMM allocations were not consumed. The tracker data is improving and there still may be a bad data point here or there. However, I don't believe there are 6 cars with incorrect exterior colors. I also don't believe the press cars were part of the 70 (there appears to be at least 4 GGMM cars deployed around the world for reviews). Back to #209. This car was the 37th USDM GGMM car off the production line and about 46th overall (+5 for Canada and +4 Japan through mid-August 2022). #209 arrived new at Weir Canyon Acura. Weir is pretty active on social media and documented this car extensively. It was configured with every possible upgrade and one of the few to hit the highest MSRP of $193,495 in the US. As expected, the interior photo shows it has the Alcantara instrument cluster visor. Full red leather covers the seats. The lightweight package with the carbon ceramic rotors is surrounded by Berlina Black Gloss wheels and red calipers. Finally, this car has the XM radio technology package upgrade. This is really tempting- it's exactly how I would spec it.Finally, Acura of Oakland posted some pictures of #010, 19UNC1B09NY000010 about a month ago. This was the first 130R White car off the production line back January 2022. The configuration/options are about as basic as you can get. Interior is Ebony Alcantara/leather. This was the second car built with iron rotors and paired with Shark Gray Matte wheels. On the bright side for those that care for a smooth roofline, the XM radio option as not selected. It goes without saying the instrument visor is Alcantara. As of today, this car is still for sale at the dealership. The listing claims the MSRP is $173,495.

However, for the life of me, I cannot reconcile the $2000 of installed options. It certainly not "factory" installed options with exception of the CF engine cover that has a $750 cost (even though we know it was mandatory due to supply chain issues). Maybe some dealership options have been added to the car. My guess would be the premium car mats for $1,255 bringing the options total to $2,005!

I actually thought that this would be a great spec for a weekend track car to keep costs down. This is really tempting- it's exactly how I would spec it.
