Who have you taken the car to? Do you know about the NSXCB? www.nsxcb.co.uk There are plenty of UK owners that know where to take their cars to for alignment. There's a place in Southampton, that makes alignment equipment. The guy that does alignments there also is a NSX trained mechanic.

I would suggest using brass nuts too. In euro countries metric sized nuts are easy-peasy to get. I've used stainless bolts, copper washers and brass nuts before. Don't you have nut splitters available? They fit round a nut and you screw in a blade shaped pin that will cut the nut open.

For a valve to go back up to the intake, it must of gone through the valve seat in the head, no? If so it must of been pushed by the piston forced through the head and flew up the intake port. I guess then area of the head around the valve seat maybe ruined, and therefore the head.

There are two bearings. One in the flywheel, one on the cover. I think the fly is referred to as the pilot, it centres the input shaft. The release pulls on the fingers of the cover.
