My guess: water sprayed up on engine from last wash [especially spraying right rear tire].
Does it show up a few minutes after you start the engine and go away in 5 minutes or less?
These tires are on "Closeout" at Tire Rack.
They said that they are being replaced this Fall by the Dunlap Direzza Star Spec II.
They anticipated this and "...have good inventory for everyone to complete the season..."
I spoke to Lance - he is at extension 4176.
I drove Lime Rock yesterday - Yellow group. -
Instructor starts hinting to drive my car; his car is not in top shape etc., -- he can show me how to improve my line and get more speed.
With a polite explanation, I declined.
illwillem: I was driving in Yellow, in the Green / Yellow HPDE run group. Yellow with this club is low intermediate. The next run group up was blue / white. My post is just a heads up to others who are newer to HPDE. No plans for racing for me and never in the nsx - I am only looking to become...
Lesson Finally Learned At Track
This past weekend I attended a two day event. That makes 15 track days and I learned a huge lesson at a relatively low dollar cost [ "relatively" being the operative word]. I write this post for newcomers to the sport and those in their first few years of...

Who had the license plate cover that was [off] opaque and then transparent by applying electricity?
I just want to know the name of the product / material and where to get it for a different project.
Thanks.....
Not the greatest photo but it gives you the idea. The sort shift mod is blue, lower left. Just work slow and protect console from scratches [ by inserting biz card or hard sheet plastic] when removing air duct. I used putty knife to release air duct clips. It took a little tinkering to figure...
