What's the best way to turn the oem orange needles on the gauge cluster to yellow? paint brush? vinyl stickers? spray paint?

TIA.

Henry.

I did mine with the stickers in the R overlay kit from Vance. Would of thought paint v.difficult to acheive quality finish.

Got any pics of this?

Do the needles light up? I would recommend paint over vinyl, a good finish is not hard to get, you just need to mask and prep right.

Be gentle and careful playing with the needles or you'll be sorry.

Yeah, I know the oem cluster is really delicate and fragile, that's why I was thinking of spraying the needle so I don't have to touch them.

Hope this helps.

There are mixed views on the sensitivity of the needles. I erred on the side of caution, was VERY careful when working with them to apply the decals. IMO, painting would require some prep that would enhance the risk of damage to a dash that would cost you many $$$ to replace.

No, they don't. Back in the 90s the light that lights up the spedometer is projected from the front, instead of the back like most modern cars do. If you look carefully u'll find bulbs (orange) around the spedo.

In that case just paint them, you don't need to prep that much because these needles wont see any handling, so just clean and paint with some plastic paint.

Any pic of the yellow needles at night?

Thnx

Henry.
