That seems like a very fair offer on the silver one, considering the curb rash, expired tires, and paint meter readings suggesting some left side bodywork, not to mention service just over a decade ago. The eval document suggests ~$105, which is just what I'd expect. I guess they're not in a rush if they're holding out for $140.

That is really quite heart-warming, thanks, Gents! I got word back, no, but we will accept $130K. Hmm, no body damage on the Carfax, obviously an LA car that has spent its life going "up to" normal highway speeds on the 405. Maybe he'll come back begging, we will see. I trolled Google again today. People post these ads, when I call them, they have all (to date), said, oh, we sold that long ago. So pull the ad maybe?

Well, I am an NSX owner, after all the hunting. I saw an ad probably four months ago for a silver '99 with 34K miles on it. I got into the ad for about 7 seconds when I saw that it was an automatic, backed out and searched elsewhere. I saw the same ad a month ago, same reaction and result. Someone, one of my Primate brothers, suggested I look closely at the pictures. When I saw the instrument panel, the aha moment hit me - it's a 6-speed, priced as an automatic! I bought it at asking price, if they were willing to ship it to me here in Boulder, CO from Pennsylvania, yes, they would, so I paid $98K. It's a two-owner car with a clean Carfax. All records from day one are in a notebook. The car is here, and needs some detailing work, perfect for me! Thank you all for all your help and moral support!
