WTB: '97-'99 NSX-T

That seems like a very fair offer on the silver one, considering the curb rash, expired tires, and paint meter readings suggesting some left side bodywork, not to mention service just over a decade ago. The eval document suggests ~$105, which is just what I'd expect. I guess they're not in a rush if they're holding out for $140.

We'll see. I sent them 6 recent BAT sales of cars with less miles for less money. Let's see if they respond to market factual information!

You can lead a horse to water... or you may have to go another route - if you've got @centerpunch on the case, you've got the A-Team.

@Wild Turkey, @centerpunch -
That is really quite heart-warming, thanks, Gents! I got word back, no, but we will accept $130K. Hmm, no body damage on the Carfax, obviously an LA car that has spent its life going "up to" normal highway speeds on the 405. Maybe he'll come back begging, we will see. I trolled Google again today. People post these ads, when I call them, they have all (to date), said, oh, we sold that long ago. So pull the ad maybe? :)

Where are you located.

Hi, All - @Wild Turkey @centerpunch @jcdeng @Honcho
Well, I am an NSX owner, after all the hunting. I saw an ad probably four months ago for a silver '99 with 34K miles on it. I got into the ad for about 7 seconds when I saw that it was an automatic, backed out and searched elsewhere. I saw the same ad a month ago, same reaction and result. Someone, one of my Primate brothers, suggested I look closely at the pictures. When I saw the instrument panel, the aha moment hit me - it's a 6-speed, priced as an automatic! I bought it at asking price, if they were willing to ship it to me here in Boulder, CO from Pennsylvania, yes, they would, so I paid $98K. It's a two-owner car with a clean Carfax. All records from day one are in a notebook. The car is here, and needs some detailing work, perfect for me! Thank you all for all your help and moral support!

Hi, Primates -
I'm looking for a '97-'99 NSX-T, under 30K miles, anything but a red car - yellow, silver preferred. Like another poster, the best car for me has a conscientious owner along with all receipts from day 1, hopefully. I will travel anywhere in the CONUS to look at the car, preferably including an undercarriage inspection on a lift. I like cars that haven't lived in humid or wet climates. Have cash, and will pay up for the right car. Let me know what you have, thanks!
- Rob
I have 98 T with 22k miles spa yellow. 2nd owner. Some mods and let me know if you are interested or contact me 908 240 1555 I am located n.j thanks

Ha-ha, I clearly understand why you say that! :)
I have really wanted a yellow one all this time. Nothing wrong with Mr. Silver, I hope I can flip him and get into this one. I will keep posting here.
- Rob

You can swap on the rims & shifter knob from Mr. Silver before you let him go! :)

Excellent. btw, to reference another primer, like this @Rob5995 guy, type the @ sign and the first 2-3 letters of their username. A menu box will open up to select that user, and they'll be notified that you referenced them, with the little alarm bell at the top right.

Best of luck on getting exactly what you want. It took me 5 years, but I definitely don't regret buying the placemaker 1995 in the meantime, which was a great project to work on in Covid, and also verification that the NSX was what I wanted.

I am fonder of the stock shifter knob than any metal aftermarket one . . .
That’s probably this Honda aluminum shift knob- I’ve had it on both my NSX and really like it.
