Sitting here watching the cable news programs. They are all over who John McCain is going to pick for his Vice President. His folks are playing the media like a fiddle.

Did someone give a speach last night?

Too funny.

I see it!!...The future!! The Mayan calendar makes sense!! Obama wins. Nothing happens in the next 4 years, or things get worse. Hillary comes back and wins in 2012. Which ironically is also when the Mayan Calendar says the world is going to end.:tongue::biggrin:

44 yo green but spunky/tough mother of 5 .....fantastic move!!

You just combined Smokey & the Bandit with the Dukes of Hazzard :)

You are culturally aware in certain circles.
The Smoky and the Bandit sherriff (Buford T Justice) would say, "What is this world coming to?"

I'm Ecstatic about McCain's choice, and she's hot to boot!

Wow, wasn't expecting that. Very surprised. And yeah, she's got 5 kids for a reason. ;)

That said, now McCain can't use the "experience" argument againt Obama. They had to have thought of that before the decision was made.

It was the only viable antidote for the Obama-Biden ticket. The experience argument is still more valid for the president rather than for the VP.Disclamer,I am a Republican.

I would vote for Biden as president but I won't vote for Obama as president. That tag should be flipped.

So I'm going McCain.

I do not claim a party. I just pick the lesser of two evils.

-----------
side note: Then again it is said that the VP does most of the real work that does not get any spotlight. Maybe the Obama tag isn't so bad. Maybe the McCain tag is worst because it puts a green VP into power. Someone enlighten me further on this please?

If Obama gets elected you can kiss your money good bye.

I'm just worried that if something happends to John Mc Cain in the next for years as President, not sure if the new V.P. would be able to handle the challenge. She is also a mother of 5 and one just born a few months ago.
I think John picked her because she's a woman and want's to get more votes.

What do you mean by green? Environmental or inexperienced?

I think Obama could* make a great president 10-20 years down the road. Without any clear idea of his character policy/decision wise I think it's nothing short of a gamble electing him president. I don't know enough about Biden to make a decision.

I think McCain is a reasonable and fair guy. He knows what war is and he's been around the block. He's mediocre on a lot of stuff but the democratic congress will negate a lot of his progress or whatever you want to call it.

I just think obama is doing whatever he can to appeal to the masses even if it doesn't make sense. I would also willing be willing to bet every cent I have that he would admit this in confidence, whereas i think mccain typically does what he thinks is right regardless of whether polls would be all for it. I also don't want higher taxes for more $hit that is useless for me.

If you can handle 5 kids, you can handle a bunch of crybabies in Congress.

Yep, I'm happy. I've been fighting for this ticket for many months now.....along with http://palinforvp.blogspot.com and http://www.palinforamerica.com. My car's been on jack stands all summer b/c of it...

In any case, the more and more people get to meet Palin and McCain, and see how well they compliment each other, brining Experience AND change - the stronger the ticket will be.

OK, so after watching Ms. Sarah "Badass" Pulin's speech, I'm pretty excited about the neocons again! This VP is like a 7th inning grand slam!!

Any hot female politician that carries an NRA card and packs heat gets my vote. Period. This tough lady would stare Putin in his cold blue eyes and then, without even flinching, would give that commie the Bangkok.

its a very good choice, and very interesting!

i did not know much about her until today, when i found out i googled her and she is a very impressive woman:

she was the star of her basketball team in highschool, mother of 5! was prom queen or something to that effect, and i forget the details but she had alot to do with the 1200 dollar checks residents are getting in alaska from the oil companies, she goes to church every weekend, and she has the highest approval rating of any govenor with a 90% approval, sounds more like the highest approval rating of any politician!

somehow obamas cam is trying to talk smack about weak foreign policy resume, but i dont think obama is really one to talk about that:tongue: mccain has enough to trump both biden and obama.

and yes, she is a BABE!

I read that she was almost crowned Miss Alaska in 1984.

shes also a hunter/fisher, and NRA member:cool:

a great looking family
