25 x 12 = 300, which is the allocation for the U.S., correct? Makes sense...

Yes, but

January 2022 was 0
February 2022 was 21
And now folks have shared that there are delays, so either they will speed up production later in 2022 or the Type S run will continue into calendar year 2023

Where did you get these numbers at? Car #68 was delivered last week, but your numbers indicate only 46 have been built... so there are at least 68 US Type S right now as they are not skipping VIN numbers from what I've been told.

Canadian cars #00331 - #00345 are now being delivered. VINs 8000001 - 8000015
US cars are #00001 - #00300 . VINs to match
Worldwide cars are not built in order.

BnB's number is surely from the official sales statistics from Honda.

It's a matter how a delivery is defined. Not that I know the exact definitions - I would be curious to find out.

Thanks Dice,

The numbers I share are from Honda's monthly press releases communicating sales figures.

These number reflect only actual sales to customers, not inclusive of cars built and still at the factory, in transit, or at a dealership but not sold.

Anxiously awaiting an update. My dealer had me sign-off on the build summary in mid-February. The concierge notified me in February, I think, my build date was April. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Unique ID listed on that sheet (Mine was the P82) would be the expected build number 82/350. If anyone has their car already, and also seen the build authorization, maybe they can confirm. I've received no update since February.

Nsx #

I am not sure, I never saw the build sheet or did the sign off as the salesman left the dealership, I had no contact until late Dec. when I called Acura Customer Service, lucky I got an NSX specialist to help me, I was told that my order was finalized in November and my build date was mid January, which turned out to be true as my car is 014/350.

It is possible one of the NSX specialist can help with your question, but figuring about 25 per month they should be around 85 by now, maybe less because of the delays, depends on what parts they are missing.

Ya no luck for me either. Was told my build would be in April from dealership after it was suppose to be March.. but no word from the factory or dealer yet as to even if my car is being built yet. I was told i would be car 120ish. If you are in the 80’s and have not heard anything then mine must be pushed back even more, I hope not..

Just heard back from Acura stating my car is waiting on delayed parts and they have no ETA yet.

If you are in the 80’s

I'm not sure what number my build is of the 350. I was just curious if this number from the build sheet might be a clue. It may be totally unrelated. It was supposed to be an April build (I'm betting that is wishful thinking now).

This build/option sheet that I okayed was ridiculously non-detailed. Almost zero identifying information that I could see other than the colors and options. Certainly, didn't have my name anywhere on it.

They are missing door panels. They are currently building and stashing cars awaiting parts. Anna is still doing 40 engines a month. It could be much worse!

Do you know someone at the dealer or did they just tell you the sales price upon inquiry?

I know the owner. I'm also the Admin of the NSX Type S Facebook page - we are attempting to locate as many as possible.

good to know...make sure you keep that playground civil...

We were not aware of a Type-S group, how do we join? We just picked up a 130R Type-S and should be taking delivery next week :)

thanks
