Where are all the Production deliveries ??

very nice , congratulations on being one of the first

So... it sounds like we will have the first blue NSX2 on the streets. And I've seen lots of black, red, white, and even a source silver posted. When will we see the first production Nord Gray (green) ? I had heard rumors that was maybe the color that Seinfeld had ordered. But I haven't see any pics of his car. Maybe mine will be the first since the order rates are extremely low for that color -- but I'm so far down the order list that I'm not expecting to see it until maybe this time next year...

I'm in Brampton, Ont. I placed my order on Feb 24th and the initial production date I was given was May 26th and then it changed a number of times.

Haha.. My production date was exactly the same.. May 26th. I think you took my car! 😂

Learned today that approx 10 Canadian cars are being shipped over the next week or so.
6 or 7 to the GTA and three to greater Vancouver.
No word on Montreal.
Honda Canada is shipping cars sold to individuals first then a few unsolds to dealers
Next Canadian run is in September for those who were "locked" in early June.
Believe another 15 cars.
Canada supposed to get 78 in total for MY 2107 which is about 10 % of the US total.

Serial # 048, a red on black one just showed up in Walpole MAhttps://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/676312981/overview/Probably was on the same truck with Nosirrahx's car

Y wheels look just like the P101s on my RS7, wanted something different. Also might go P201 on the NSX.

I think this will be a nice match.

Let me know if you want to sell the take-offs.

... ill comment more when I get some sleep.

I did hit 100MPH before I hit 100 miles on ODO though :)

Tick tock. Wake up sleepy head. Full review! Full review!! FULL REVIEW!!!!

OK, review will be coming in chunks. I wont be talking about the nav, radio, interior controls .... as those always take a while before you know whether or not you love them or hate them, on to the driving (what everyone cares about anyway).

First off, I am extremely glad that my RS7 is massively modified because if it were stock still, it would be boring and disappointing to get into after driving the NSX.

Last night I had the chance to rip around route 143 @ around midnight and hit 100+ several time, topped out @ 130. Getting up to those speeds and driving feel at those speeds felt like I was part of the car. Totally natural and totally in control. Acceleration is sport + does not feel like a turbo car, it feels like a magically light big V8. The tires are too new to really corner hard, ill wait a bit to really test that. Sport + is absolutely perfect for back road bombing. I tried track a few times and honestly, it is what it says it is, track mode. Regular sport mode was really nice yesterday when I was stuck in traffic. Sport + mode in heavy traffic is obnoxious. Quiet mode I absolutely guarantee will be the mode you show people to show them how quiet it is, and then you wont ever use it again.

Parking this thing is easy, way easier than I was expecting. Backing up is simple and I was backing into spaces within an hour of driving for the first time. The only time visibility suffers is when you need to look at about 4:30, which sucks because leaving my house I have a merge that requires this just down the road.

As far as the looks go, even better than I expected. 100% happy with the blue and it even looks amazing under street light.

Going to save the complaints for a bit, see which of them are legit and which are just adjusting to a new car.

Overall, very happy with the car although I am not sure I would say the same if I lived in a populated area. Out here I can drive a little crazy from time to time and it is an absolute blast in this car. If I lived in Boston I don't think I could handle being constantly constrained by traffic.

Let me know if you want to sell the take-offs.

I think I am going to keep them for at least a year or two on the off chance that a improved NSX becomes available. I will want to return to stock. <- say this way too much, return to stock stuff takes up half of my garage :P

Enjoy it in the best of health!

what did the dealership do to make the delivery special?

any chance you rolled down Newbury St to do the fashion runway?

could you describe the giddy up from a stop light or slamming the brakes at speed to dislodge your teeth?

I am not a "make me feel special" kind of guy. I just want the transaction to be quick and off without a hitch.

Ill be down in that area a bunch this and next month, I am sure that I will make it by.

From a stop light you really have to be careful, its way too fast for streets with traffic if you romp on it. They want you to break it in for 600 miles before you launch it in track mode, ill let you know when this goes down.

Braking is what you would expect with LP sized rotors, you have to look in your mirror if you are going to test the brakes because there is no way a regular car will be able to stop in time even with a decent gap.

What is your opinion on the feel of the paddle shifters. That seems to be an issue in several reviews.

Just wondering if they may have upgraded the switches from the pre-production versions in the reviews.

Thanks

i had read that some dealers will have a closed room to privately introduce features to new owners

from the route 143 mention, it looks like you live between Amherst and Pittsfield. Are you going to have it serviced in Auburn?

any issues with the low nose yet?

a thought on the hifi would be appreciated as I haven't seen any real description of it's sound quality

Auto shifting wasn't pissing me off at all so I didn't use them much. My only real complaint about them is that when you force a downshift you don't get any wild backfires like I do in my RS7. I could not get a single crackle or pop out of the exhaust.

There was a closed and locked room for the car and the intro, didn't care though because I am not the kind of guy that cares about stuff like that. The car is special, I am just a guy with $.

I promised them that I would do most of my service in Boston which is no big deal because I go there all the time. Auburn is closer but not dramatically.

Low nose, yes. I cannot park in the left side of my garage, which is OK because the right worked just fine. Speed bumps were no issue although I took it down to 5 MPH just to be sure.

I do not listen to music while driving. Its sport talk, just the exhaust or chatting with my wife (who is f-ing hilarious).

The only reason I got the sound upgrade was due to the suggestion that it will likely be something a future buyer would want.... and I do agree with that.

Great to read your comments from an owners point of view.
Most refreshing after years of negative comments in the forums.
There's sure to be some things that aren't to your (or other owners) liking but they'll be in context now.
Thank you

Now where's that pic?

Pics soon but if you look around for Bass Pro NSX I am sure that you will find a bunch. At least 1000 pics were taken while I was there.
