For the '97+ front rotor bracket? That would allow me to bolt on '97+ rotors to my current ('91) setup? I can't find it in the oemacuraparts.com online catalog.
I just replaced the rotors on my '94 with Power Slot rotors. The only thing holding the rotor to the hub are two 14mm screws. #29 in the diagram. Part #93600-06014-0H. is that it?
Update: I found out that the mounting bracket is cast as part of the caliper itself, so if I want to run '97+ rotors, I have to buy the entire caliper.
If i'm not mistaken, Stop Tech or Racing Brakes sell the 2nd gen front brake bracket by itself.
Not cheap but there's the poop.
Otherwise, look for someone to upgrade to BBS and buy their brackets '97 and newer.
RacingBrake makes brackets for this upgrade. You can order them from Amazon, which is cheaper. However, the '97 and up rotors are much more expensive than the '91 through '96 rotors. So, I would look at that before you make the jump. Otherwise, you're better off buying a used set from someone who upgrades to a BBK.
The RB brackets are quite expensive compared to the refurb ones sold by ASMotorSports. If Scorp can produce a set for $350, then that's a good deal. But at the end of the day, the 97+ brake package with rotors, pads, lines, etc will cost almost $2k all said and done. Not sure if that price justifies the performance increase.
