what is 8th digit of type-R vin

Hey everyone I am trying to find out what is the 8th digit of vin on a type R or even the whole vin I dont need the last 6 digits thanks guys hope some one can help. :biggrin:

Maybe this helps... for an Integra Type R the 7th and 8th digits are 31

thanks yeah I saw that on other vin's I'm just amazed how little info we have on this matter lol

Sam they are in this format:

NA1 - XXXXXXX

NA2 - XXXXXXX

Jdm chassis numbers are short and don't follow the same format as US Vin.
