I was recently asked what are the top 5 modifications/upgrades on your NSX?

It was a tough question to answer. However, for this poll i'm excluding any mods you still want to do. I think it's important to have some feedback behind the wheel prior to listing your mods.

What say you?

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

1.3.2 L motor
2 type R susp
3.non compliance susp parts
4 type r r&p and short gears
5. front bbk

1) Comptech supercharger.
2) Advan racing wheels.
3) Jdm nav pod with gauges and zublin smart shift led light.
4) Comptech power grip clutch. Gone but not forgotten. Will buy another one when oem clutch burns out.
5) Headers. Only listed as number 5 due to barely feeling the 18 hp gain. It's not that noticeable. Just louder.

I am still awaiting my angus exhaust to be delivered. So it could possibly make the top 5.

1. FR/RR Stoptech trophy BBK
2. OS Giken LSD/short gears
3. KW V3/swift springs
4. lightweight parts (pole2flag CF bumper beams/kc machine battery/seats)
5. CT headers/Fujitsubo Super Ti exhaust

1. CTSC
2. CT Header/Exhaust
3. CT Carbon Fiber Airbox
4. HRE 18/19
5. NavPod - custom Garmin 7" GPS with wireless backup camera

1. 02 rear end conversion. The pre 02 just looks too outdated and small, sorry if I offend any purist but I can't stand the way the original back end looks even when new.
2. Good set of tires on light weight wheels. The nsx's factory wheels are too small and with modern tires it brings the handling to today's standards
3. weight reduction. The nsx doesn't make a lot of power but taking at least 100 lbs off would help with the power to weight and handling/brakes.
4. I/H/E. The car from the factory is too damn soft.
5. suspension mods such a type r front sway bar, chassis bracing, and lower the car slightly. I actually forgot that the NSX looks like a 4x4 with aftermarket wheels and stock suspension.

1) Weight reduction
2) I/H/E
3) Suspension mods such as 1" front Dali Trophy sway bar, R braces, rear strut bar and decent coils.
4) Good set of tires.
5) Lighting. Having LED headlights gets rid of the annoying heating up process with HIDS and finally matches in color. Also custom front turn signal lens get rid of the "Depot" or "Ebay" looking lens (no offense). Finally, JDM tail lights without the amber.

5. Xpel Clear Bra

Other Mods not on the top five: Grom Bluetooth adapter, Gruppe M JDM Boost Gauge, SOS short shifter kit and LED interior lights.

1. Volk CE28N 17/18 Bronze wheels- beautiful, super light- upsize and still drop unsprung weight!
2. ABS upgrade from year 2000+ NSX- works better,no squealing pump or exercising it
3. Tein S-Tech springs- moderate lowering,near-stock handling
4. Angus 100-cell high flow cats- save weight, gain a little power, nice extra roar on acceleration, save big $ over oem
5. SOS carbon fiber gauge trim, red-stitched shift knob- subtle, classy appearance mods

+1. New OEM shocks- not strictly a mod, but so much better than 20 year old ones they feel like one

I'm going to cheat a little

1. JDM 5spd short gears, OS Giken LSD, OS Giken clutch
2. JRZ RS Pro dampers with RYU front lift kit
3. Recaro Pole Position Seats
4. RYU Custom valvetronic exhaust
5. CTSC Autorotor with HKS F-Con Vpro

Honorable mention for refreshing the entire front end suspension. Brand new manual steering rack, ball joints, tie rod ends, Momo NSX-R steering wheel, Works Bell quick release, etc. Wow, what a difference in steering feel!
NSXGB - I had a hard time prioritizing the 00+ ABS. I love that thing but it didn't make the list :(

1. SOS Twin Turbo System
2. Comptech / Driving Ambition 3.5 Engine
3. KW V3 Coilovers
4. JDM Type S steering wheel
5. CT swaybars

So far the mods have been to enhance the everyday usability of car.

1. Trim down foam in driver seat cushion. At 6'1" I can now comfortably drive the car! While working on seats added aftermarket heating pads as well.
2. Vinyl wrap for color change and protect the original paint
3. Chassis reinforcement bars
4. Rearview mirror with built in screen for front & rear camera views
5. GROM Bluetooth / Pride V2 RFL exhaust - depends on which soundtrack you want to listen too

1. DF NSX-R Seats
2. Sparco 320mm D cut steering wheel
3. Grom ipod adapter / aux cable
4. KW V3 coilovers
5. Comptech exhaust

I don't even have all these yet, but if I could do it over my order would be...
1. Tint
2. New head unit with bluetooth
3. HRE wheels 18/19
4. Coilovers
5. AP-X turbo kit
